The use of digital solutions in creating learning environments for employees is becoming a strategic process from the perspective of the company functioning. The implementation of mobile, cognitive or artificial intelligence technologies allows for the creation of virtual and extended environments that provide opportunities for various forms of learning. This determines the position on the market and the competitiveness of the company. Digital Learning tools are becoming increasingly important. Through them, it is possible to create conditions for a permanent learning process. A research problem was identified in the field of selected forms of digital transformation in creating learning environments for employees. The aim of the article is to analyse the ability of enterprises to create learning environments for employees in the digital transformation. In order to solve the research problem, quantitative research was carried out on a specific sample of respondents. The results of the study show that, depending on the job title taken and the size of the company, perceptions can vary greatly. It is important to create environments and the impact of technology on their creation. The dependencies between Digital Learning tools and the creation of learning environments are very strongly correlated.
The article presents the scope of issues related to knowledge management in models assuming the performance of work outside workplaces and the tools used to disseminate knowledge transfer. Knowledge management and transfer are the cornerstones of any business. They are evidence of market position and competitive advantage. The approach to knowledge transfer tools in remote work models is becoming crucial. On this basis, a research issue was formulated, which concerns knowledge management in hybrid work performance models and ICT tools used. The research objective is to assess knowledge transfer in businesses and identify the most effective ICT tools used by employees to manage knowledge in businesses. In order to solve the research problem, quantitative research was conducted on a randomly selected sample of respondents. Studies have shown that respondents are aware of the importance of knowledge sharing within organizations. They see the benefits and barriers thereof. Their command of knowledge-sharing tools, on the other hand, is moderate. The added value of the article is linking the substantive approach to knowledge transfer itself, taking into account the tools used in the hybrid model. The article indicates the existing connections and perception of the employees themselves.
The article presents the scope of issues related to the impact of the VUCA (volatility, uncertainty, complexity, ambiguity) environment on digital competences of management staff in power companies. Each company has to deal with its own individual and personalized VUCA world typical for the power industry. Unfortunately, some organizations are not aware of its existence, and therefore they do not identify the signals coming from the external environment while still working according to the developed patterns. The VUCA approach requires changing the competency model in enterprises and focusing on its strengths. On this basis, the research problem regarding power enterprises was formulated. The problem discussed in the article below concerns the undefined and undefined influence of the VUCA environment on the emerging digital competences of managers. In connection with the identification of the research problem in this area, an attempt was made to define the aim of the study, which is to determine the impact of the connections of the VUCA world with digital competences of managers in the energy sector. To solve the research problem, quantitative research was carried out on a randomly selected sample of managers. It has been shown that leaders are more or less aware of the existence of the VUCA world. As key competences, they mention the ability to develop and adapt digital technologies to the needs of the organization or the ability to flexibly switch thinking between various problems. The novelty of the work is the identification of the connections between the VUCA world and competences and the provision also through the prism of artificial intelligence. The existence of links between the VUCA environment and digital competences was indicated, and the use of VUCA as a determinant of the impact on changing the perception of employees was analyzed.
W zalezności od stosowanych metod oczyszczania wody, powstają produkty odpadowe w postaci ściekow i osadow ściekowych. Do procesow, jakie związane są z okresowym powstawaniem ściekow, nalezy zaliczyc filtracje (plukanie filtrow), procesy membranowe i wymiane jonową (regeneracja jonitow). Osady, natomiast, powstają w czasie takich procesow jednostkowych, jak: koagulacja solami glinu lub zelaza, zmiekczanie wody metodą strąceniową czy odzelazianie poprzez utlenianie jonow zelaza Fe(II) do Fe(III). Najwieksze ilości osadow powstają podczas procesu koagulacji. Na ilośc, sklad i wlaściwości osadow mają wplyw: jakośc i ilośc uzdatnianej wody, rodzaj i dawka stosowanych koagulantow, a takze warunki procesowe (glownie mieszanie). Z doniesien literaturowych wynika, ze ilośc powstających osadow po procesie koagulacji wody zmienia sie w zakresie od 0,1 do 5,0% dobowej wydajności zakladu uzdatniania wody. Uwodnienie osadow pokoagulacyjnych zalezy od rodzaju osadnika oraz czestotliwości usuwania osadow, i przyjmuje wartości z zakresu 98,5–99,9%. Charakterystyczną cechą osadow i popluczyn powstających po procesie koagulacji solami glinu i zelaza jest to, ze mogą zawierac toksyczne metale, np.: arsen (As), bar (Ba), kadm (Ca), chrom (Cr), nikiel (Ni), olow (Pb) oraz cynk (Zn). Klasyfikacja i sposob unieszkodliwiania lub zagospodarowania osadow po koagulacji wody mogą byc określane na podstawie testow wymywalności EP lub TCLP. Osady te poddawane są odwadnianiu i, w zalezności od skladu, mogą byc wykorzystywane do rekultywacji terenow. Najcześciej jednak są deponowane na skladowiskach odpadow.
The concept of corporate social responsibility is part of the strategy of cooperative banks since they were set up. The cooperative character of these institutions and their willingness to compete with other financial market players reflect the main assumptions of CSR. Cooperative banks, while pursuing their mission and vision, try to combine commercial goals with the social dimension of their business. The main purpose of the article is to present opinions of clients of cooperative banks on the implementation of corporate social responsibility by these institutions. The author attempts to answer the question, whether customers perceive the social aspect of cooperative banks operation and how they assess their approach to running a business. The empirical basis for the issues discussed in the article is a study of the literature on the subject and the survey results of 132 clients of selected cooperative banks. The questions concerned include: social initiatives undertaken by cooperative banks, forms of support provided by these institutions and participation of clients in events sponsored by cooperative banks. To develop the research results the following methods have been used: structural indicators and chi-squared compliance test. Following the results of the conducted research the general conclusion have been drawn. The most important of these is the fact, that the clients recognize social initiatives undertaken by cooperative banks. They appreciate the involvement of these institutions in promoting cultural and educational events as well as supporting and donating to social and charitable organizations. The idea of CSR is also realized through the process of financial education of the local community, and youth in particular.
The aim of the study was to determine extent, in which coagulation can affect to the risk reduction of human exposure to the consumption of water containing polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs). The paper presents results of research on the removal of priority PAHs (naphthalene, anthracene, fluoranthene, benzo(a)pyrene, benzo(b)fluoranthene, benzo(k)fluoranthene, benzo(g,h,i)perylene, and indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene) from water in the volumetric coagulation and sedimentation process. For analysis were chosen coagulants such as aluminum(VI)sulfate and two pre-hydrolyzed coagulantsPAX XL 19H and FLOKOR 1ASW/B. Water samples subjected to coagulation were collected from selected water treatment plant following the pre-ozonation process. Tested coagulants were dosed at optimal doses (2.8; 3.6mg Al3+/L). Summary concentration of eight hazardous PAHs in water after pre-ozonation amounted to 60.78ng/L. After volumetric coagulation using selected coagulants was in the range of 31.51-33.64ng/L. The highest efficiency in the removal of 8 PAHs was obtained after application of FLOKOR 1 ASW/B (48.2%). Also in the removal of benzo(a)pyrene FLOKOR 1ASW/B was the most effective (decrease by 89.9%). The risk analysis was carried out for five hydrocarbons: benzo(a)pyrene, benzo(b)fluoranthene and benzo(k)fluoranthene, benzo(g,h,i)perylene and indeno(1,2,3-cd)pyrene.

The paper presents results of research on the removal of priority hazardous polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) (anthracene, benzo[a]pyrene, benzo[b]fluoranthene, benzo[k]fluoranthene, benzo[g,h,i]perylene, indeno[1,2,3-cd]pyrene) from water in the coagulation and sedimentation process. Coagulants chosen for the analysis were aluminum(VI)sulfate and two pre-hydrolyzed coagulants – FLOKOR 1.2A and FLOKOR 1ASW/B. Water samples subjected to coagulation were collected from selected water treatment plants following the pre-ozonation process. Tested coagulants were dosed at optimal doses (1.2; and 1.8 mg Al 3+ /L). The process was carried out at optimum parameters: rapid mixing – 3 min at the rotational speed of 200 rpm; slow mixing – 10 min at 30 rpm; sedimentation – 60 min. Summary concentration of six priority hazardous PAHs in water after pre-ozonation amounted to 12.6 ng/L; after volumetric coagulation using selected coagulants it was in the range 6.8–8.3 ng/L. The highest efficiency in the removal of priority hazardous aromatic hydrocarbons was obtained after application of the preparation FLOKOR 1 ASW/B. Decrease in the summary concentration amounted to 46.4%. For the removal of individual priority PAHs, FLOKOR 1ASW/B was also more effective using lower coagulant dose than was aluminum(VI)sulfate (decrease in the range 23.6%–56.1%).
The paper presents a GIS-based method for selecting an optimum location of wind farm on the case study of the Prusice commune in Lower Silesia (SW Poland). The adopted multi-criteria approach utilises the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and Weighted Linear Combination (WLC) methods to determine weights of sitting criteria (factors and constraints), and to develop a composite suitability map from single-factor maps representing these criteria. The adopted sitting criteria have been identified based on literature review, and include: technical, spatial, social and environmental aspects of wind farm devel- opment, and also address specific geographical constrains of this part of Poland. The most suitable and suitable areas have been presented on a wind farm suitability map for the com- mune. The area size of the largest suitable spots (14) varies from 10 to 64 ha. The proposed method and the results of this work can be used to support sustainable spatial policy and spatial development on all levels of public administration related to renewable resources use.
The purpose of the present study was to compare the effectiveness of coagulation process conducted using classical non-hydrolyzed coagulant - aluminum(VI)sulfate and pre-hydrolyzed coagulants: Flokor1ASW/B and Flokor 105 V. Water samples subjected to coagulation were collected from selected water treatment plant after pre-ozonation process. Instantaneous samples were taken in winter season. True colour of water amounted 7.0 mg Pt/L and turbidity was 7.29 NTU. The study in laboratory scale was carried out with the usage of a six beaker flocculator. Volumetric coagulation was performed in water samples of the volume of 1 L. In six beakers, rapid-mixing (3 min at the rotational speed of 200 rpm) was followed by 30 min slow mixing (at 30 rpm). After coagulation the samples were subject to 60 min sedimentation. The coagulant dose was optimized for minimum colour, turbidity and UV254 absorbance values using conventional jar testing procedures. The coagulation performance was examined with a range of dosages 0.4-1.4 mg Al/L for pre-hydrolyzed coagulants. In case of aluminum(VI)sulfate ranged from 1.6-2.6 mg Al/L. The optimum dose for aluminum(VI)sulfate amounted 2.2 mg Al/L. For prehydrolyzed coagulants, the doses were much lower, i.e. 1.4 mg Al/L. Also less wear of water alkalinity was obtained than in case of aluminum(VI)sulfate. The effectiveness of removal of turbidity for ALK, Flokor 1ASW/B and Flokor 105V was 62.6%, 73.0% and 69.0% respectively. Effectiveness of coagulants was compared on the basis of concentration of selected water quality indicators (turbidity, absorbance at 254 urn) after coagulation process (for optimal doses). For the assessment if the differences were statistically significant Student's t test for difference of two independent trials was used. In all examined cases it was found that the use of different types of coagulants is statistically significant for the achieved effects of coagulation. Calculated values were higher than theoretical. (t(d)>t(t)). The use of pre-hydrolyzed aluminum coagulants improves the efficiency of the coagulation process, and reduce the wear of coagulants in comparison with previously used aluminum(VI)sulfate. After application of Flokor lASW/B the best results (among the investigated coagulants) for the chosen contaminant removal were obtained, more than 46,3% decrease of DOC and 75,0% decrease of UV254 absorbance.

The work presents the results of the study that determined the changes in the concentration of polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) in the sewage sludge and supernatants during the co-fermentation of municipal and coke sewage sludge. The municipal sewage sludge served as a control sample, and the mixture of municipal and coke sewage sludge was used as a test sample. The sewage sludge was incubated for 20 d at 37 degrees C in the dark. The quantification of the PAHs was carried out simultaneously in both the solid and supernatant phases, the latter separated from the sludge during centrifugation. After 20 d, the solid phase was observed to have its PAHs content reduced by 60% in the control sample and 64% in the analyzed one, respectively. The decline in the solid phase PAHs content was accompanied by a significant quantitative increase of the PAHs in the liquid phase, which proves the desorption of solid particles. The control supernatants showed the total concentration of 16 PAHs of 1.1 mu g/L prior to the treatment, and reaching 20.5 mu g/L after 20 d of incubation, while for the supernatants separated from the mixture of municipal and coke sewage sludge, a 13-fold higher total concentration of the analyzed PAHs was determined
The aim of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the removal of selected 7 PAHs (naphthylene, acenaphthene, fluorene, phenanthrene, pyrene, benzo (a) anthracene, chrysene) from coke wastewater. Hydrogen dioxide is used as the oxidant at doses of 50, 100, 300, 600, 900, 1000, 2000 mg/L. PAR removal efficiency was based on the initial concentration in the wastewater coke. Examined changes in general indicators of organic pollutants such as COD, TOC in the process. TOC conversion ratio were determined at COD. amounted to 6.11. On the basis of the parameters CODobl and TOC the optimal dose for the oxidation process was from 600 to 1000 mg/L. Quantitative and qualitative analysis of PAR was perfoimed using a gas chromatograph mass spectrometer. The optimal dose for 7 PAHs was 300 mg/L. PAR removal from wastewater 73% for the 3-ring compounds and 67% for the 4-ring hydrocarbons.
