Objective:To evaluate the efficacy of the multimedia visual perceptual learning system for improving visual acuity in pediatric patients with amblyopia and to discuss factors influencing the therapeutic effects of perceptual learning.Methods:This was a prospective randomized controlled study Amblyopic children aged from 3 to 11 years (n=112) were recruited from the ophthalmology clinic.Participants were randomly assigned to the experimental group that utilized the multimedia visual perceptual learning system or a control group utilizing the synoptophore.All subjects underwent perceptual learning and patching or refractive correction,depending upon the individual situation.After the baseline visit,follow-up visits were held after 10,20,and 30 treatments.Finally,the clinical efficacy and improvement of visual acuity in the two groups were analyzed and compared,using chi-square test,independent-samples t test,Pearson correlation test.Results:The curative effect of the experimental group was better than the control group at different training periods (Z=-4.128,-4.806,-3.063,P<0.O0 1).The change in visual acuity in the experimental group was significantly higher at the 10th and 20th training sessions (t=3.471,3.290,P<0.05).In the moderate and severe amblyopia groups,the curative effect of the experimental group was better than the control group (Z=-3.050,P=0.021),and was the same as in the anisometropic amblyopia group (Z=-2.864,P=0.004) and 7-11 year-old group (Z=-2.631,P=0.009).There was a moderate correlation at baseline and an improvement in visual acuity in both groups (r=0.690,0.650,P<0.05).Conclusions:The multimedia visual perceptual learning system can achieve an optimal effect in a short period of time.The improvement in vision relates to the sex of the patient,and the degree and type of amblyopia,which are clinically significant to amblyopia therapy.
Objective To evaluate the consistency of the results of stereoscopic vision examination of Yan Shaoming's stereoscopic vision test chart of the third and the second edition in healthy adults. Methods Five hundred and twenty officers and soldiers with normal binocular corrected vision and without eye diseases in an army unit were enrolled. Stereoacuities were examined using Yan Shaoming's stereoscopic vision test chart of the third edition,and the results of the second edition were used as a control. Kappa test was used for statistical analysis comparing the consistency of the two examination results. Results In the results of the third edition, the percentages of foveal stereopsis (≤ 60 "),macular stereopsis (80" ~200 ") and peripheral stereopsis (≥200") were 97.31%,1.92%,and 0.77% respectively. In the re-sults of the second edition,the percentages were 95.96%, 2.88%, and 1.16% respectively. The consistency of the two results was statistically significant (Kappa = 0.736,P = 0.000).Conclusions Yan Shaoming's stereoscopic vision test chart of the third edition is intuitive in the stereoacuity examination,without wearing the red-blue glasses. It could quickly and promptly examine the stereoacuity in good natural light,who has the same sensitivity and reliability as the second edi-tion in healthy adults.
AIM:To evaluate the effect of digital multimedia visual training in stereoacuity rebuilding of the postoperative intermittent exotropia.METHODS:Eighty-three patients with intermittent exotropia were randomly divided into 2 groups including treatment group and control group.In the treatment group,41 patients were trained with digital multimedia system including antisuppression and fusion function training.In the control group,42 patients received no any training.The differences of binocular visual and fusion range and final deviation were compared between the two groups before and after treatment.RESULTS:When compared with control group,the stereoscopic vision had significantly rebuilded(P<0.05),the fusion function was greatly enhanced(P<0.05),treatment group got better efficacy in final deviation(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:The digital multimedia visual training can promote binocular function and increase the final orthotropia ratio.The new treatment provides a new feasible way for intermittent exotropia clinical therapy.
AIM:To evaluate digital multimedia visual training as treatment for amblyopia in children.METHODS:Seventy-six juvenile patients(117 eyes) with amblyopia were chosen and treated with digital multimedia visual training and classic combined therapy.Each amblyopia type were used in this study for two groups,experinmental and control.The therapeutic effect and treatment time of two groups were compared and the binocular function was observed.RESULTS:When compared with control group,the treatment time was significantly shorter(P<0.05),and it would took much longer for the correct visual acuity increasing 1 LogMAR line in control group,while experimental group got better efficacy in binocular vision(P<0.05).CONCLUSION:The multimedia visual training can promote binocular function and shorten the treatment cycle of vision dysfunction.The new treatment can achieve the best treatment effectiveness in a short time and provide a new feasible way for amblyopia clinical therapy.

目的 探讨三种不同立体视觉检查图在选飞体检中的应用价值.方法 274例视力正常的海军航空学院报考者根据眼位分为正常组(242例)和斜视组(32例).应用传统经典的Titmus立体图、现代随机点TNO立体图及颜少明的数字化立体视觉检查图三种方法进行立体视锐度测定. 结果 三种立体图检测所得正常组中立体视觉正常者(立体视锐度≤60")所占百分率分别为Titmus 98.34%,TNO 92.98%,颜氏图97.52%,Titmus与颜氏图比较差异无显著性,二者与TNO比较均有显著性差异(P<0.05).斜视组立体视觉正常者三种立体图检测所占百分率分别为Titmus 90.63%,TNO 71.88%,颜氏图75.00%,TNO与颜氏图比较差异无显著性,二者与Titmus比较差异均有显著性(P<0.05). 结论 数字化立体视觉检查图结合Titmus立体图应用于选飞体检可以获得较为理想的立体视觉检查结果.
Objective To investigate the clinical effectiveness of rigid gas permeable contact lenses(RGPCL).Methods Twenty five cases of high myopia and 20 cases of high a-stigmatism were fitted with RGPCL,whose corrected visual acuity after 1 week,1 month,3 months and 6 months were measured.The corrected visual acuity and corneal curvature of 5 cases of keratoconus were also measured with duration of 3 months,6 months and 12 months.Results RGPCL could corrected ametropia and cured keratoconus effectively.Conclusion RGPCL shows safe and effective for ametropia and keratoconus.
Objective To evaluate the practicability of three stereovision tests in the stereoacuity examination for Navy aviator recruiting.Methods The stereoacuity was measured both for the group of normal position of eye (242 subjects) and strabismus group (32 subjects) by Titmus,TNO test for stereoscopic vision (TNO) and Yan's Digital Stereovision tests.Results The percentage of normal stereovision (stereoacuity≤60″) in normal group was respectively 98.34% by Titmus, 92.98% by TNO and 97.52% by Yan's.There was no significant difference between the measurements of Titmus and Yan's test but the significance was found in TNO test compared with other teszs (Z=- 3.272、- 3.314, P< 0.05).In strabismus group, the percentage of normal stereovision was respectively 90.63% by Titmus, 71.88% by TNO and 75.00% by Yan's.Testing by TNO or Yan's had no statistic difference but for the testing by Titmus (Z= -2.825、-2.428, P<0.05).Conclusions The Yan's Digital Stereovision test combined with Titmus test could be appropriate to stereoacuity examination for pilot recruitment.
Objective To study the influence on surgical effect in intermittent exotropia with binocular visual training. Methods The postoperative orthotropia, undercorrection and overcorrection of 45 cases with intermittent exotropia were divided into 3 groups. All patients received postoperative binocular training. Results Distant stereopsis was improved after binocular visual training than postoperation in patients of all groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.01); Final orthotropia have no significant differece in 3 groups (P>0.05), but had significant differece between the undercorrection and overcorrection (P<0.05). Conclusions The binocular visual training is very important in the treatment of intermittent exotropia. Patients who had binocular visual preoperation should receive postoperative binocular training and the surgery with overcorrection.
0 引言 急性共同性内斜视(acute concomitant esotmpia,ACE)是一种特殊类型的斜视,在临床中并不少见,但由先天性小脑扁桃体下疝综合征(Chiari畸形)所致,国内尚未报道,现遇见一例,报告如下.
AIM:To investigate the clinical effect of modified trabeculectomy in the treatment for glaucoma.METHODS:A total of 21 eyes of 18 patients were performed modified trabeculectomy with anti-metabolism medicine and adjustable suture for scleral flap.Postoperative visual acuity,intraocular pressure(IOP),anterior chamber and complications were observed.RESULTS:Postoperative visual acuity was of no change in 6 cases(8 eyes),improved in 9 cases(10 eyes),descended in 3 cases(3 eyes),compared with preoperative visual acuity.The complications included grade Ⅰ shallow anterior chamber in 3 cases(3 eyes) and bulbar conjunctival injury leaking in 4 cases(4 eyes),which were cured by treatment.The postoperative IOP could not be controlled and the repeated surgery was needed in 1 case(1 eye).The adjustable suture was removed according to the changes of IOP and the depth of anterior chamber postoperatively.The visual field was improved in some patients.CONCLUSION:The modified trabeculectomy got a better clinical effect,which induced much fewer postoperative complications.And long-term outcome of modified trabeculectomy should be followed up.
Objective To determine effects of induced anisometropia on stereopsis to assess the potentially detrimental effects of uncorrected anisometropia on stereoacuity in sailers.Methods Twenty-five healthy adult volunteers,who were 22-34 years old(mean:27 years old)and free of ocular diseases,participated in the study.The different lenses ranging from 1-3 D were planced in front of right eyes of subjects,which leaded to 4 different types of anisometropia(simple hypometropia,simple hypermetropia.Stereoacuity was measured by YAN Shao-ming Digital Stereoscopic Test Charts.Results The levels of stereoacuity decreased in all subjects as the degree of anisometropia increased.One diopter of spherical anisometropia had subjects'stereoaeuity reduced to 50″-54″ and that of cylindrical anisometropia had subjects'stereoacuity reduced to 50″-52″.Regardless of type,three diopters of anisometropia had all suhjeets'stereoacuity reduced significantly.Conclusions Low levels of anisometropia can have potentially significant adverse effect on highgrade binocular vision function in adults.Foveal suppression,which is directly related to the degree of anisometmpia,may be responsible for the reduction of stereopsis.
1 病例报告 女,9岁,发现右眼外斜,右眼视力不良9a.患儿生后2wk时父母发现右眼外斜,随年龄增长外斜渐加重.5岁时发现右眼视力不良.曾在外院诊断"共同性外斜","右眼弱视",经"遮盖治疗"右眼视力无明显提高.患儿足月顺产,无眼外伤史,无手术史,无高热、惊吓等诱因.家族中无斜弱视患者.父母非近亲结婚.入院查体:全身检查未见异常.眼部检查:视力:右眼0.4,近视力0.5,-1.50DS-1.00DC×170°=0.3,左眼1.5,近视力1.5.眼位:角膜映光法:左眼注视,右眼外斜;右眼注视时,左眼外斜,三棱镜角膜映光法:左眼注视,33cm-50△,5m-55△;右眼注视时左眼外斜度大致相同,戴镜时斜视度无变化.同视机检查无双眼视功能,双眼各方向运动正常.双眼前节裂隙灯检查正常,眼底检查:双眼视乳头形、边、色正常,视网膜色泽、血管正常,右眼黄斑位于视乳头颞侧缘下方,距视乳头中心约1.5PD处,黄斑中心光弥散.电生理检查:右眼VEP潜伏期延长,振幅降低,ERG振幅明显降低.诊断:①交替性外斜视;②右眼黄斑异位.治疗:入院后行右眼外直肌后退7.5mm,内直肌折叠4mm,术后双眼角膜映光正位,遮盖与去遮盖双眼均无运动.术后0.5a随访双眼位正,眼球各方向运动无受限,右眼视力无提高.
Objective To study changes of retinal dopamine levels after exposure to 0.1 Hz extreme low frequency alternative magnetic field in hamsters.Methods 36 male golden hamsters were randomly sorted into 4 groups.Whole body of the experimental animals were exposed to 50,75,100 mT alternative magnetic field intermittently for 8 hours per day for continuous 7 days,and then the retinal dopamine levels were analysed.Results The contents of retinal dopamine were significantly increased in the 75 mT and 100 mT exposure groups,but was not significantly changed in the 50 mT group.Conclusions Whole body exposure to magnetic field could increase the synthesis and secretion of retinal dopamine in hamsters when the magnetic field reached to a certain intensity,and these effects increased gradually with the increase of field intensity.Exposure to long-term strong magnetic field may change the retinal functions because of the increase of retinal dopamine levels.
目的:通过模拟舰船强磁场暴露后金黄地鼠视网膜内多巴胺含量的变化及兔眼视觉诱发电位(visual evoked potential,VEP)潜伏期和振幅的变化,探讨强磁场暴露可能对视觉系统视网膜功能产生的影响.方法:36只成熟雄性金黄地鼠,28只新西兰白兔,随机分为4组,地鼠每组9只,兔每组7只.动物全身间断暴露于50~100mT交变磁场7d,每天暴露8h,然后测定地鼠视网膜内神经递质多巴胺含量,兔于暴露前后分别记录闪光VEP潜伏期和振幅.结果:各组白兔VEP潜伏期暴露前后均无显著变化(P>0.05),而磁场暴露后VEP振幅显著降低,对照组暴露前9.29±3.93 μ V,暴露后6.17±3.70 μ V(P<0.05);50mT组暴露前11.50±2.71 μ V,暴露后7.17±2.87 μ V(P<0.05);75mT组暴露前8.77±2.35μV,暴露后5.97±2.48 μ V(P<0.05);100mT组暴露前8.60±1.69 μ V,暴露后3.79±1.46 μ V(P<0.01).磁场暴露对金黄地鼠视网膜内多巴胺含量影响明显,50mT暴露组视网膜多巴胺含量(78.65±20.71ng/g组织)与对照组(74.35±27.31ng/g组织)相比无显著差异(P<0.05),而75mT组(142.50±25.54ng/g组织)和100mT组(165.87±17.66ng/g组织)视网膜内多巴胺含量比对照组显著增高(P<0.01),100mT暴露组多巴胺含量比75mT组显著增高(P<0.05).结论:全身暴露磁场强度到达一定水平时可刺激地鼠视网膜内多巴胺的合成和分泌,强度越强,作用越明显,长期的强磁场暴露将因视网膜内多巴胺含量的变化而影响视网膜的功能.而强磁场暴露对VEP潜伏期无影响,振幅明显减低,说明强磁场暴露对视觉神经系统具有明显的抑制作用.

Objective: To analyze the treatment of complicated open-globe injures of eyes in different periods and to emphasize the time limiting of treatment for traumatic eyes. Methods: 58 eyes that underwent second-period treatment of vitrectomy for complicated open-globe injuries were retrospectively analyzed. Results: 44 eyes (75.9%) got better visual acuity than that of pre-operation.Vitrectomy that was carried out at 2 weeks after the trauma could get better visual acuity than that at other times.If the vitrectomy were run later than 1 month after the trauma,the prognosis of the affected eye would be the worst. Conclusions: The time limiting of the vitrectomy surgery performed at the second period after trauma is very important for the prognosis of the eyes with complicated open-globe injury.
