Permasalahan sampah botol plastik di kawasan perkotaan seperti Kota Surabaya terus meningkat seiring dengan pertumbuhan konsumsi masyarakat, sementara kapasitas daur ulang masih terbatas dan sebagian besar limbah plastik berakhir di tempat pembuangan akhir. Di sisi lain, ketersediaan bahan baku rotan sebagai material utama kerajinan anyaman semakin terbatas dan mahal, sehingga menghambat keberlanjutan usaha kerajinan masyarakat. Program pengabdian ini bertujuan menerapkan teknologi ekstruder filamen untuk mengolah botol plastik bekas menjadi filamen plastik sebagai bahan alternatif pengganti rotan sekaligus memberdayakan masyarakat Desa Gading Watu, Kabupaten Gresik. Metode pelaksanaan meliputi edukasi ekonomi sirkular, pembuatan alat ekstruder, pelatihan pengolahan botol plastik menjadi filamen, pelatihan anyaman, pendampingan produksi, serta persiapan pemasaran produk. Hasil kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa teknologi ekstruder filamen dapat dioperasikan secara mandiri oleh masyarakat dan mampu menghasilkan filamen plastik yang layak digunakan sebagai bahan anyaman. Masyarakat berhasil memproduksi berbagai produk kerajinan seperti keranjang, pot tanaman, dan kotak serbaguna dengan bahan filamen plastik. Program ini berkontribusi dalam mengurangi limbah plastik, meningkatkan keterampilan dan pendapatan masyarakat, serta mendorong penerapan ekonomi sirkular berbasis komunitas.
Pengembangan desa wisata merupakan strategi penting untuk mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi dan pemerataan kesejahteraan. Program pengabdian ini menunjukkan peran strategis pemuda sebagai agen perubahan dalam pengelolaan pariwisata yang berkelanjutan, dengan mengambil studi kasus program pemberdayaan di Desa Kuala Trang, Kabupaten Nagan Raya. Tujuan pengabdian masyarakat ini adalah memberdayakan pemuda melalui pembentukan kelompok pengelola untuk mengoptimalkan potensi wisata alam desa secara mandiri dan profesional. Metode yang digunakan meliputi beberapa tahapan, yaitu inisiasi dan diskusi dengan perangkat desa, pembentukan kelompok pemuda, Focus Group Discussion (FGD) yang melibatkan multi-pihak, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan. Hasil dari kegiatan ini adalah terbentuknya kelembagaan pemuda yang sah untuk mengawasi dan mengelola kawasan wisata, yang dilengkapi dengan peningkatan kapasitas dalam manajemen dan digital marketing. Simpulan analisis FGD mengidentifikasi peluang besar dari tren wisata berkelanjutan, namun juga menyoroti kelemahan dalam kapasitas pengelolaan dan ancaman kerusakan lingkungan. Dampak yang diharapkan adalah terciptanya lapangan kerja, penguatan ekonomi lokal, dan pelestarian lingkungan. Kegiatan ini menyimpulkan bahwa kesuksesan jangka panjang bergantung pada pemberdayaan pemuda yang berkelanjutan, pemanfaatan teknologi, dan pengelolaan destinasi yang bertanggung jawab untuk mencapai keseimbangan antara manfaat ekonomi, sosial, dan kelestarian ekologis.
The aim of this research is to analyze village management as well as supporting and inhibiting factors in the management of potential Silalahi III tourism villages, Silahisabungan sub district, Dairi district, North Sumatra province. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The data collection technique in this research is a data collection method in a way that can be used by researchers to collect data according to Riduan (2010:51). The results of research on the potential management of cultural villages as villages in Dairi Regency show that the 5 management functions according to Hendry Fayol, namely Planning, Organizing, Commanding, Coordinating and Controlling, are the initial and important steps. for the human resource development process in Silalahi III village as a cultural tourism village that has been recognized by the regent, so it is hoped that this tourism village can develop and be sustainable. As a result, the main obstacle is human resources being the main reason. The government needs to develop local culture and wisdom, both tangible and intangible, as a trigger for community economic development, especially in the Silalahi III Culture village.
Gastroesophageal junction carcinoma (GEJC) and esophageal squamous cell carcinoma (ESCC) are increasing in Australia and other Western countries. We aimed to investigate past trends and predict the future direction of GEJC and ESCC cases. Data on GEJC and ESCC were extracted from the Australian Cancer Database, and the National Mortality Database for the Australian states of Victoria, Queensland, Tasmania, and the Australian Capital Territory. The new number of cases were predicted up to 2039 by fitting a least squares linear regression using the Australian incidence rates trend from 2009 to 2018. Past trends were analyzed for prevalence and mortality. Kaplan-Meier curves generated the survival trend for up to 10 years. Between 2009 and 2018, the overall incidences of GEJC showed an increasing trend (annual change [β1] = 0.87, P < 0.05). Bovine mastitis is a widespread and costly disease that affects dairy farming globally, characterized by mammary gland inflammation. Bovine intramammary gland infection has been associated with more than 135 different pathogens of which Staphylococcus aureus is the main etiology of sub-clinical mastitis (SCM). The current study was designed to investigate the prevalence, antibiotic resistance pattern, and the presence of antibiotic resistance genes (mecA, tetK, aacA-aphD and blaZ) in S. aureus isolated from the raw milk of cows with subclinical mastitis. A total of 543 milk samples were collected from lactating cows such as Holstein Friesian (n = 79), Sahiwal (n = 175), Cholistani (n = 107), and Red Sindhi (n = 182) from different dairy farms in Pakistan. From the milk samples microscopic slides were prepared and the somatic cell count was assessed to find SCM. To isolate and identify S. aureus, milk was streaked on mannitol salt agar (MSA) plates. Further confirmation was done based on biochemical assays, including gram staining (+ coccus), catalase test (+), and coagulase test (+). All the biochemically confirmed S. aureus isolates were molecularly identified using the thermonuclease (nuc) gene. The antibiotic resistance pattern of all the S. aureus isolates was evaluated through the disc diffusion method. Out of 543 milk samples, 310 (57.09%) were positive for SCM. Among the SCM-positive samples, S. aureus was detected in 30.32% (94/310) samples. Out of 94 isolates, 47 (50%) were determined to be multidrug resistant (MDR). Among these MDR isolates, 11 exhibited resistance to Cefoxitin, and hence were classified as methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA). The S. aureus isolates showed the highest resistance to Lincomycin (84.04%) followed by Ampicillin (45.74%), while the least resistance was shown to Sulfamethoxazole/Trimethoprim (3.19%) and Gentamycin (6.38%). Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) analysis revealed that 55.31% of the isolates carried blaZ gene, 46.80% carried tetK gene, 17.02% harbored the mecA gene, whereas, aacA-aphD gene was found in 13.82% samples. Our findings revealed a significant level of contamination of milk with S. aureus and half (50%) of the isolates were MDR. The isolated S. aureus harbored various antibiotic resistance genes responsible for the absorbed phenotypic resistance. The alarmingly high prevalence of MDR S. aureus isolates and MRSA strains in these cases possess a serious risk to public health, emphasizes the urgent need to address this issue to protect both human and animal health in Pakistan.
There are already mandates and recommendations for detecting indications of tender collusion, but the risk of collusion in e-tendering has not been handled properly. Meanwhile, data analytics competency has become a prerequisite for successful digital transformation. This study aims to reveal the projection of data analytics integration in controlling collusion risk in e-tendering. This study uses a quantitative research method. The object of this study includes data on the risk of tender collusion and the KPPU’s Decisions for 2021 and 2022. The results of this study reveal that the average similarity of bids is 0.5308, a parameter indicating the risk of collusion in tenders. Existing controls have not been effective in dealing with this risk. Control development can be designed by referring to KPPU regulations and recommendations to LKPP. Maximum control standards can be applied by developing preventive controls in the form of data analytics competence training for the Selection Committee so that they are able to detect indications of collusion in tenders. In addition, data analytics tools need to be integrated into e-tendering in the Electronic Procurement System (SPSE).
Background and Aim: Anaplasmosis, a tick-borne disease affecting livestock caused by the bacteria Anaplasma, poses a global concern. This study aimed to estimate the prevalence, spatiotemporal variation, and associated risk factors of anaplasmosis in cattle from the Bannu and Lakki Marwat districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan. Materials and Methods: This study used 197 cattle exhibiting clinical symptoms of anaplasmosis in natural settings. Microscopic examination was used to estimate the prevalence. Potential risk factors, such as sampling regions and months, gender, breed, and age were studied. Results: The study revealed an overall anaplasmosis prevalence of 19.79%. Bannu district exhibited a higher occurrence at 22.10%, compared to Lakki Marwat district at 17.64%. Young cattle (<2 years) demonstrated a notably higher incidence of anaplasmosis (26.78%) compared to adults (>5 years), which had a prevalence of 12.35% (p < 0.05). Female cattle (22.36%) were more susceptible than male cattle (11.11%). Prevalence peaked in June (45.71%) and was lowest in February (3.57%). Crossbred cattle had a higher prevalence (23.52%) than purebred cattle (11.47%). Conclusion: Anaplasmosis can be effectively controlled using a comprehensive approach encompassing selective breeding for resilience, targeted care of young calves and females, effective tick control during warmer months, consistent use of insecticides, and proactive risk factor management. Raising awareness among farmers through diverse channels, including media, is pivotal to bolster tick-borne disease management strategies.
There have been 6,566,610 fatalities and 626,337,158 reported cases of COVID-19 worldwide. Pakistan presently has over 1,573,922 confirmed cases and 30,625 deaths. A survey-based study was performed from January to September 2022 among different university communities to find out their KAP level. Data was collected in Google Forms through a questionnaire. The Independent t-test, Multinomial regressions, and Non-parametric Mann-Whitney test were used to assess the level of significance (p-value ≤0.05). 317 out of 605 participants were male (52.5 %), the majority of participants were 15-29 years old (72.7 %), unmarried/divorced (71.6 %), have no children (82.1 %), residing in the urban area (54.9 %) and possess a college/university degree (59.5 %). The majority of participants correctly answered five out of six knowledge questions (M = 4.96, SD = 1.03) and correctly identified the primary symptoms of COVID-19 (94.4 %) along with the proper identification of mode of transmission (95.2 %) while 1.8% wrongly replied and 2.1 % did not reply. A knowledge test revealed the significant frequency of misconception, with nearly half of the respondents (46.3 %) assuming that illness might be contracted by eating or coming into touch with wild animals. Wearing a facial mask is highly practiced (M = 3.59, SD = 0.91), followed by avoiding crowded places (M = 3.44, SD = 0.95) and practicing hand hygiene (M = 3.36, SD = 1.04). Females, the elderly, and the less educated, on the other hand, have less understanding of COVID-19, making them especially susceptible to the pandemic. It is proposed that further awareness might contribute to a favorable attitude and practice.
This epidemiological study was conducted to compare the climatic conditions of four different districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan, in terms of the prevalence of parasitic infection Paramphistomum in cows and buffaloes. A total of 2400/cows and buffaloes (200/per month and 50/per district) fecal samples were collected. The samples were examined for Paramphistomum egg contamination by direct microscopic examination and sedimentation methods. The infectivity ratio was 17.5% in cows and 17% in buffaloes; the higher rate of infection was recorded in autumn with 41% in cows and 36% in buffaloes. Whereas the lowest ratio was 6.5% in cows and 7% in buffaloes recorded during spring. It was also noted that a high rate of prevalence was recorded in older animals (higher than 2 years of age) than younger (less than 2 years of age), while gender-wise, it was observed that male animals were more affected than females. Prevalence was higher in cows in Mardan district (19.30%) followed by Nowshera (19.10%) and Swabi (17.80%) districts while lowest in Charsadda district (13.80%) where in buffaloes the higher prevalence was recorded in Swabi (18.80%) followed by Mardan (18.60%) then Charsadda (16.80%) while lowest in Nowshera (13.80%).
ABSTRAKTanggung jawab sosial perusahaan atau corporate social responsibility (CSR) menjadi salah satu upaya perusahaan dalam membuat perubahan bagi masyarakat, melalui program CSR perusahaan dapat membangun hubungan sosial kepada masyarakat sehingga perusahaan memiliki legitimasi yang baik. PT Bukit Asam melalui program CSR SIBA Bokashi bermaksud memberdayakan masyarakat melalui kegiatan industry kreatif dengan memanfaatkan limbah organik menjadi sebuah pupuk bokashi. Sebagai salah satu pihak yang melakukan pelayanan publik melalui program SIBA Bokashi, tentunya perlu dilakukan evaluasi terhadap pelayanan yang dilakukan terhadap masyarakat penerima program. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah mengukur tingkat kepuasan masyarakat atas aktivitas tanggung jawab sosial yang dilaksanakan oleh perusahaan dan mengukur pencapaian manfaat yang telah diterima, serta memberikan peluang bagi masyarakat untuk memberikan penilaian yang objektif mengenai perkembangan pelaksanaan program CSR PTBA. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu pendekatan kuantitatif deskriptif untuk menjelaskan indeks kepuasan masyarakat (IKM) terhadap program yang dilaksanakan. Hasil keseluruhan IKM berada pada interval 3.335 dan berdasarkan tabel interval dalam Permen PAN RB No. 14 Tahun 2017 mengenai Pedoman Penyusunan Survei Kepuasan Masyarakat, maka mutu program CSR SIBA Bokashi dalam kategori B dengan nilai konversi 83.37, ini menandakan bahwa kinerja program CSR SIBA Bokashi berada pada kategori sangat baik. Capaian nilai IKM yang telah didapatkan tersebut menunjukkan pelayanan yang sangat baik karena berbagai indikator penyusunnya dapat dicapai secara keseluruhan mulai dari kepastian waktu pelayanan, akurasi pelayanan, kesopanan dan keramahan, tanggung jawab, kelengkapan, dan kemudahan mendapatkan pelayanan. PT Bukit Asam through the SIBA Bokashi CSR program intends to empower the community through creative industry activities by utilizing organic waste to become bokashi fertilizer. As one of the parties that perform public services through the SIBA Bokashi program, of course, it is necessary to evaluate the services provided to the community receiving the program. The purpose of this study was to measure the level of community satisfaction with social responsibility activities carried out by the company and to measure the achievement of the benefits that have been received, as well as to provide an opportunity for the community to provide an objective assessment of the development of PTBA's CSR program implementation. The method used in this study is a descriptive quantitative approach to explain the community satisfaction index (IKM) for the implemented program. The overall results of IKM are at intervals of 3,335 and based on the interval table in Permen PAN RB No. 14 of 2017 concerning Guidelines for Compiling a Community Satisfaction Survey, the quality of the SIBA Bokashi CSR program is in category B with a conversion value of 83.37, this indicates that the performance of the SIBA Bokashi CSR program is in the very good category. The achievement of IKM score that has been obtained shows very good service because the various constituent indicators can be achieved as a whole starting from the certainty of service time, service accuracy, politeness and friendliness, responsibility, completeness, and ease of getting service.
Staphylococcus aureus is a prominent cause of food-borne diseases worldwide. Enterotoxigenic strains of this bacteria are frequently found in raw milk, and some of these strains are resistant to antimicrobials, posing a risk to consumers. The main objectives of this study were to determine the antimicrobial resistance pattern of S. aureus in raw milk and to detect the presence of mecA and tetK genes in it. A total of 150 milk samples were obtained aseptically from lactating cattle, including Holstein Friesian, Achai, and Jersey breeds, maintained at different dairy farms. The milk samples were checked for the presence of S. aureus, and it was detected in 55 (37%) of them. The presence of S. aureus was verified by culturing on selective media, gram staining, and performing coagulase and catalase tests. Further confirmation was performed through PCR with a species-specific thermonuclease (nuc) gene. Antimicrobial susceptibility testing of the confirmed S. aureus was then determined by using the Kirby-Bauer disc diffusion technique. Out of the 55 confirmed S. aureus isolates, 11 were determined to be multidrug-resistant (MDR). The highest resistance was found to penicillin (100%) and oxacillin (100%), followed by tetracycline (72.72%), amikacin (27.27%), sulfamethoxazole/trimethoprim (18.18%), tobramycin (18.18%), and gentamycin (9.09%). Amoxicillin and ciprofloxacin were found to be susceptible (100%). Out of 11 MDR S. aureus isolates, the methicillin resistance gene (mecA) was detected in 9 isolates, while the tetracycline resistance gene (tetK) was found in 7 isolates. The presence of these methicillin- and tetracycline-resistant strains in raw milk poses a major risk to public health, as they can cause food poisoning outbreaks that can spread rapidly through populations. Our study concludes that out of nine empirically used antibiotics, amoxicillin, ciprofloxacin, and gentamicin were highly effective against S. aureus compared to penicillin, oxacillin, and tetracycline.
In Pakistan, theileriosis is the main hemoparasitic disease in large and small ruminants. The present one-year study from Oct 2017 to Sep 2018 was designed to calculate the prevalence and risk factors associated with theileriosis in livestock of ten areas of Malakand Division. A total of 1437 blood samples (n = 240 sheep, n = 658 cow, n = 340 buffalo, n = 199 goat) were collected. The overall prevalence of theileriosis recorded was 3.20% (46/1437). The prevalence was higher in cows (5.62%) followed by goats (3.02%), buffaloes (0.59%) and least in sheep (0.42%). The locality of the herd also significantly affected the prevalence of theileriosis in livestock with a highest prevalence in the Asbanr area. There was significantly high association of season with theileriosis. Herd size of<10 animals had significantly higher prevalence than with>10 animals. Animals having an infection history of<15 days showed higher prevalence than animals having infection history of>15 days. Gender and age were not significant risk factors for theileriosis. The current work reveals prevalence and relationship of species of animal, locality, season, age and sex of animal, herd size, infection history and tick infestation with the prevalence of the disease. Appropriate tick control measures, rearing resistant breeds and identification of carrier animals will be helpful in reducing the incidence of the disease in livestock.
Background: Cancer patients are confronted with a variety of other health-related issues, including physical disability, poor quality of life, and psychological challenges. This study aims to quantify the association of dietary, behavioural and lifestyle risk factors and comorbidities on the magnitude and distribution of disability burden among cancer patients in Australia. Methods: This study comprised a sample of 2283 cancer patients drawn from the latest nationwide Australian National Health Survey conducted in 2017-18. Negative binomial regression models were used to estimate the incidence rate ratio (IRR) of the number of disabilities and its associations. Results: Forty-five percent of cancer patients experienced at least one disability. The magnitude of disability was significantly associated with sugar-sweetened drink consumption >= 3 days per week (IRR= 1.12, 95% CI: 1.02-1.26), a lack of physical activity (IRR = 1.69, 1.38-2.07), frequent or regular alcohol consumption (IRR = 1.95, 1.84-2.08), poor health status (IRR = 1.99, 1.78-2.24) and the presence of five or more chronic comorbid conditions (IRR = 3.59, 2.90-4.46). Cancer patients who consumed vegetables at least two or more times per day had a 10% lower risk of disability burden (IRR = 0.90, 0.82-0.99). Conclusions: This study shows the association of diet, behavioural, and lifestyle risk factors on the degree of disability burden among cancer patients, highlighting the need for bold and effective policies. The findings will inform the implementation of evidence-based lifestyle interventions and offer a foundation for evaluating their influence on cancer survivors' health.
The present investigation was aimed to improve the contemporary information about morphometry and diet of Oriental skylark Alauda gulgula nestling from hatching to 8th day very carefully during the breeding season (April, May, June, and July) 2019, in district Bajaur. A total of 70 nestlings of 22 nests were studied systematically. The eggs were hatched out both from the middle point and blunt end. All the eggs were hatched asynchronously with closed eyes and a naked body. They opened their eyes on average after 3.27 +/- 0.4 days of hatching. Their wing and tail feathers grew on an average of 3.8 +/- 0.3 day of age. On the 8th day, their average morphometry (cm) was: body length 6.7 +/- 0.1, wingspan 4.8 +/- 0.1, tail feathers 0.8 +/- 0.7, beak 0.7 +/- 0.3, chest 2 +/- 0.1, legs 2.02 +/- 0.5, middle claw 0.2 +/- 0.04, hind claw 0.4 +/- 0.04, and average body weight (g) 20.7 +/- 0.7. From hatching till the 3rd day of age, they were fed totally with larvae of arthropods, most1y Lepidoptera and Coleoptera (40%), Hymenoptera (12%) and Diptera (8%). However, adults and grains were not fed. Nestlings (4th day age) were fed by adults (32%), larvae (69%), and grains (2%). While the chicks were fed mostly by adults (72%), with larvae (23%) and grains of seed (5%). Significant differences were present in the growth of all traits, morphometry, diet, and food collection sites. However, no difference in feeding was noted. The main loss of nestlings was by mammalian predators and grazing and cutting of local crops. Awareness about the protection strategy of skylark from egg laying till fledging is required among locals and farmers.
The study was aimed to assess the psychological aspects and relevant factors of the health-care workers (HCWs) working in COVID 19 pandemic condition in Bangladesh. This online cross-sectional survey was conducted from different tertiary, secondary and primary hospitals in Bangladesh. Eligible 638 HCWs who were directly involved in the caring of confirmed or suspected COVID-19 patients were recruited in this study. The mental health was assessed by the Patient Health Questionnare-9 (PHQ-9), Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7 (GAD-7) and Athens Insomnia Scale (AIS). High frequency of depression 536(84.0%), anxiety 386(60.5%) and insomnia 302(47.3%) was found among the HCWs, which were significantly higher in physicians (p<0.001) than nurses. Moderate to severe depression was significantly higher in female, whereas minimal to mild depression was significant in male HCWs (p=0.014). Symptoms of depression (p<0.001), anxiety (p<0.001) and insomnia (p=0.004) were significantly higher among the HCWs of primary and secondary compared to the tertiary level. The HCWs developed psychological trauma due to family health (45.3%) and contagious disease property (66.6%). After adjusting confounders, multivariable logistic regression analysis showed that physicians and HCWs of secondary hospital had significant symptoms of severe depression (OR=2.95, 95% CI=0.50-17.24; p<0.001), anxiety (OR=2.64, 95% CI=0.80-8.72; p<0.001) and insomnia (OR=2.67, 95% CI=1.23-5.84; p=0.018); whereas female HCWs had more risk of developing symptoms of severe insomnia (OR= 1.84; 95% CI=1.23-2.75; p=0.003). High rate of depression, anxiety and insomnia was found among HCWs working in the COVID-19 pandemic condition in this survey.
The study was planned to evaluate the inter, and intra population genetic variation in general protein banding pattern in Oestrus ovis larvae, by using 10% sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS PAGE). The larvae were collected from slaughtered goats head from five different locations (AAS, PN, LA, GM, and BC) of Karachi, Pakistan. The data obtained was subjected to POPGENE (Population Genetic Analysis) software for analysis. The polymorphic loci within populations ranged from 45.45% to 90.91%. Polymorphic loci observed in all populations were 90.91%. The expected heterozygosity observed was 0.182 ± 0.096 in all populations. The chi-square test showed 5 out of 11 loci at H-W equilibrium. The overall fixation index (FST) value was 0.108, showing that the likelihood of subpopulations being differentiated from one another is about 11 percent. The gene flow value (Nm = 2.065) was higher, showing that genes flow occurs between populations. The values of genetic identity were greater, and genetic distance were smaller among all the populations, which means that all the populations were more alike and closer to each other. It was concluded that there was no sympatric and parapatric population differentiation observed among all the population of O. ovis and the populations of the five different locations were not genetically and reproductively isolated from each other.
Earthquake-induced landslides are one of the most dangerous secondary disasters in mountainous areas throughout the world. The nowcasting of coseismic landslides is crucial for planning land management, development, and urbanization in mountainous areas. Taking Wenchuan County in Western Sichuan Plateau (WPS) as the study area, a landslide inventory was built using historical records. Herein, eight causative factors were selected for a library of factors, and then a landslide susceptibility assessment (LSA) was performed based on the machine learning techniques of Random Forest (RF) and Artificial Neural Network (ANN) models, respectively. The prediction abilities of the above two LSM models were assessed using the area under curve (AUC) value of the receiver operating characteristics (ROC) curve, precision, recall ratio, accuracy, and specificity. The performances of both machine learning techniques were found to be excellent, but RF outperformed in accuracy. There were still some differences between the models' performances shown by the results: RF (AUC = 0.966) outperformed ANN (AUC = 0.914). The RF model demonstrated a higher degree of correlation between the areas classified as very low and high susceptibility in comparison to the ANN model. The results provided a theoretical framework upon which machine learning applications could be applied (e.g., RF and ANN), a reliable and low-cost tool to assess landslide susceptibility. This comparative study will provide a useful description of earthquake-induced landslides in the study area, which can be used to anticipate the features of landslides in the future, and have played a very important role in proper anthropogenic activities, resource management, and infrastructural development of the mountainous areas.
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui miskonsepsi siswa sekolah menengah atas dalam operasi hitung dasar yang diukur menurut number sense. Number Sense merupakan suatu bentuk kecerdasan di mana siswa peka terhadap hubungan antara angka yang siswa lihat dengan materi yang dipahami oleh siswa tersebut. Penelitian ini melibatkan 76 partisipan dari kelas X di SMAN 83 jakarta yang terdiri dari 60 siswa IPA dan 16 siswa IPS. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif dengan pengumpulan data menggunakan kuisioner. Hasinl penelitian menunjukan bahwa rata-rata siswa (50% dari responden) memiliki miskonsepsi dalam penyelesaian masalah dalam bentuk cerita. Siswa tidak mampu mengaplikasikan operasi hitung dengan benar jika soal diubah dalam bentuk cerita (28%). Siswa tidak dapat merepresentasikan suatu nilai dalam bentuk lain (38%). Siswa juga mengalami kekeliruan dalam melakukan operasi perkalian dan pembagian (12%). Rata-rata siswa dapat mengurutkan bilangan dalam bentuk pecahan dan desimal (55%) dan siswa dapat menyelesaikan masalah yang diaplikasikan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari (57%). Kekeliruan yang dialami oleh siswa jika ditinjau dari jurusannya tidak berbeda jauh dalam menjawab benar (IPA 38%, IPS 36%) atau menjawab salah (IPA 62%, IPS 64%).
Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) is Indonesia's economy pillar that is able to contribute 61,04% of the country's economy, to provide employment for 116,9 million people and support 293 T of Indonesia's export value (Coordinating Ministry for Economic Affairs, 2020).The challenges and obstacles faced by Batik SME are higher due to the 4.0 industrial revolution which changed the way SME survives and advances their business.The purpose of this study is to analyze the ability of Pekalogan Batik SME business management in improving business competitiveness and to analyze SME strategies to increase industrial competitiveness in facing the 4.0 industrial era.The population of this research is 24 batik artisans in Kauman batik village, Pekalongan, with saturated/census samples.The data is primary data.The research method is descriptive.The data was analyzed by using descriptive analysis technique, which was done by describing the facts of the findings.The results of the study illustrate the condition of the batik SME businesses management in Kauman Batik Village, Pekalongan.Based on the financial management, there are: 1) 74% of the artisans do not have proper business financial records, 2) 58% of the artisans do not separate business and personal finance records, and 3) 52% of the artisans have not utilized funding access provided by external parties.In terms of marketing management; 1)74% of the artisans still rely on hereditary network and 2) 74% of the artisans have not utilized the technology.Based on the HR management aspect, then: 1) the social level of batik artisans is diverse, 2) 70% of the artisans are not yet technological literate.The suggested strategies for SMEs in Kauman batik village during the 4.0 Industrial Revolution era are by 1) accessing assistance and funding offered by the Government, 2) making use of soft loans offered by banks, 3) utilizing the internet technology for business marketing, and 4) understanding and using technology.
Setiap instansi pemerintah harus bertransformasi digital. Kompetensi penggunaan data analytics menjadi keniscayaan. Riset data analytics belum mengungkap penggunaan data analytics dalam Lembaga pelatihan. Sementara, Pusdiklatwas BPKP belum optimal menggunakan data analytics, potret kesenjangan digital belum ada dan ada sinyalemen 41,22% peserta belum yakin dengan penerapan data analytics. Penelitian ini mempunyai tujuan untuk mengungkap gambaran penerapan teknik data analytics dan mengungkap kesenjangan digital yang mempengaruhi keyakinan peserta pelatihan tentang penerapan data analytics. Pendekatan penelitian kuantitatif digunakan dengan studi literatur, studi eksplorasi dan penerapan teknik data analytics, berupa; teknik statistik dan teknik visualisasi. Objek penelitian berupa 169 peserta pelatihan data analytics for audit. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan empat tipe data analytics dapat diterapkan di lembaga pelatihan. Analisa deskriptif digunakan untuk mengungkap insight ketidakselarasan profil peserta dengan keyakinan peserta pelatihan. Analisa diagnostik dapat mengungkap variabel kesenjangan digital berkorelasi kuat dan sangat kuat dengan kelas keyakinan peserta. Analisa prediksi dengan decision tree mengungkap akurasi 55,71%. Kombinasi kesenjangan digital pada kelas keyakinan peserta. Akar pohon keputusan yang utama berupa jenis kelamin, pemahaman statistik&/TIK, dukungan laptop yang dimiliki. Analisa preskriptif dengan text analytics mengungkap 10 peringkat kata perlu menjadi perhatian untuk pengembangan pelatihan berikutnya. Hasil penelitian ini berimplikasi menjadi sumbangsih akademik dan akselerasi tranformasi digital di penyelenggara pelatihan.
