Friend suggestion is one of the most popular social networking sites since it helps users connect with others who are similar or known to them. The notion of friend recommendation originated on social media platforms such as Twitter and Facebook, suggesting individuals use the friends-of-friends mechanism. It may be claimed that users do not form friends randomly but rather with their friends' friends. Existing techniques have a limited suggestion scope and are inefficient. Therefore, a novel buddy recommendation model that overcomes the shortcomings of the present system has been proposed. To create a more accurate buddy recommendation system, collaborative filtering is utilized to analyze users' similar and dissimilar data, and a recommendation system that provides user-to-user recommendations based on their comparable choices, activities, and preferences is created. Location-based buddy recommendation systems are gaining popularity because they connect the actual world to the digital realm and provide a complete picture of users' preferences or interests. This recommendation method will broaden the reach of recommendations from one user to another who has similar interests and is located in the same area.
A registered product biozyme is extracted from a Norwegian Sea weed known as Ascophyllum nodosum.It is biodegradable and non-toxic for the plant and soil health as claimed by Biostadt company.Beside biozyme, several other zymes are also available in the market with some prefixes in the name.They claim, the zyme is toxin free, eco-friendly, bio degradable product containing growth hormones, elements, minerals and vitamins.Highly compatible with fertilizers and pesticides, it also increases the resistance of plants against various pests, diseases and climatic stress.These zymes are available in solid and liquid form and are being used as either top dressing or spraying on the crop canopy at important crop growth stages.As per some earlier studies, biozyme have claimed to have beneficial in crop growth both in vegetative part as well as in grain production.Keeping in view of its importance a field trial was formulated and being conducted in research farm of Bihar Agricultural University Bhagalpur (Bihar) to see the impact of Biozyme on the yield and soil microbes.
Carpal tunnel syndrome (CTS) is the most commonly reported work-related musculoskeletal disorder of the upper extremity. In this communication, a comparison of CTS and associated risk factors amongst traditional and semi ergonomic shocker manufacturing assembly line workers in the actual industrial environment has been studied through questionnaire and physical tests. Fisher's exact test and Surface electromyography (sEMG) signal values have been used for statistical data analysis. Symptoms present are numbness (in 80 % of traditional and in 16.66 % of semi-ergonomic), tingling (in 50 % of traditional and in 8.33 % of semi-ergonomic), and difficulty in grasping (in 80 % of traditional and 20 % of semi-ergonomic). Tinel's and Phalen's sign also show an almost similar trend. The results reflect that the traditional shocker manufacturing workers have more CTS symptoms occurrence than the semi-ergonomic shocker manufacturing workers. The sEMG signal analysis result reveals that the lesser muscle activity values (EMG-RMS values) indicate the contribution of CTS symptom in shocker assembly line workers. It is found that there is a significant difference in EMG-RMS values of CTS symptoms and control subjects in traditional and semi-ergonomic shocker manufacturing industries. It is observed that if a subject is affected with CTS symptoms, then the sEMG signal value is 0.01223 mV in case of traditional and 0.02625 mV in case of semi-ergonomic shocker assembly, and for control subjects sEMG signal value is 0.15614 mV in traditional and 0.17563 mV in case of semi-ergonomic shocker assembly. The floodplain soils of Bihar comprising of alluvial deposits of various rivers in their lower course have shaped the agricultural destiny of the state. Although soil fertility is not generally a severe concern in these soils because of regular deposition of fertile alluvium, these soils which are in fact just sedimentary deposits, pose serious soil physical problems due to concentration of very similar textural separates in a season's debris. Besides there is little or no profile development in the characteristic Inceptisols and Entisols in the state. A large chunk of these problems are related to the physical quality and can be mitigated by improving the structure and stability of the floodplain soils. Adding stabilized carbon such as biochars to the soils and cultivating horticultural crops for an economic advantage is a proposition for these soils. Various advantages of biochar addition in soils including increasing cation exchange capacity, increasing water holding capacity, offering hiding space for useful bacteria and fungi, modifying the soil hydrothermal regime, affecting the dynamics of mineral nutrients in soils, etc., are enumerated followed by a brief discussion of biochar technology in horticulture. Biochar can be a substrate of growing ornamental plants and also a substrate for protected cultivation in green houses or poly houses. Biochar is a suitable material for making the earth ball for saplings to be transplanted and also a potential inoculant carrier for biofertilizers. Moreover, it is overall a good soil conditioner for ameliorating soil physical constraints encountered in floodplain soils. All these advantages can potentially lead to sustainably high horticultural crop yields from biochar interventions. However, there is still a need for strategic research efforts, to allow elucidation of mechanisms, differentiated by environmental and management factors and to include studies over longer time frames.
