Dimitrie Cantemir Christian University (Romanian: Universitatea Creștină "Dimitrie Cantemir") is a private university in Bucharest. The university was founded in 1990 by Momcilo Luburici and Corina-Adriana Dumitrescu as the Dimitrie Cantemir Independent University, which has since developed 17 faculties in Bucharest, Brașov, Cluj-Napoca, Constanța and Timișoara.
Dark tourism (travel to sites of death, disaster and collective trauma) is increasingly mediated by AI-driven content systems, but the conditions under which visitors accept AI interpretation tools in emotionally sensitive heritage contexts remain empirically unexplored. Our study examines the cultural, experiential and affective predictors of AI/immersive technology acceptance among Romanian dark tourism consumers. A quantitative cross-sectional survey (n = 232, predominantly urban respondents, January–March 2026) measured cultural belonging, prior visit experience, dominant emotional response, perceived educational value and technology acceptance; data were analyzed using non-parametric inference and bootstrapped mediation. The results are organized within a descriptive framework we term the Interpretive Legitimation Mechanism (ILM): perceived educational value fully mediates the effect of prior experience on AI acceptance (95.5% of total effect) and partially mediates the effect of cultural belonging (36.4%), while emotional state and gender conditionally moderate receptivity (fascination-dominant visitors show the highest openness and sadness-dominant visitors the lowest). These findings characterize the conditions of receptivity to AI mediation, a necessary precondition for any subsequent influence, and indicate that acceptance in dark tourism is primarily an interpretive and cultural phenomenon rather than a technological one.
This paper analyses the legal and moral tensions between religious rights and the rights of sexual minorities, focusing on two cases: Masterpiece Cakeshop v. Colorado Civil Rights Commission before the United States Supreme Court and Gareth Lee v. The United Kingdom (Application no. 18860/19) before the European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR). Both cases involve Christian-owned bakeries refusing to create cakes supporting same-sex marriage or the rights of sexual minorities, citing religious beliefs. By analysing these cases within a broader legal and societal context, this research aims to contribute to the ongoing discussion on how courts navigate tensions between religious freedom and LGBTQ+ rights. The methods of analysis of legal acts, comparative, logical, and summarising methods were used in this article. Results of research show that courts and international bodies of human rights in these cases must navigate complex intersections of freedom of expression, freedom of religion, and equality norms, while being mindful of the social and political contexts in which these disputes arise. Ultimately, the developing jurisprudence in this area suggests that no uniform solution is likely to emerge soon; instead, courts will continue to approach such conflicts on a case-by-case basis, weighing the competing rights at stake and the proportionality of any limitations imposed. This study examines the validity of Okun's law in Romania over the period 1994-2024, with a particular focus on the sustainability and inclusiveness of economic growth. The empirical analysis uses annual data from the World Bank's World Development Indicators and applies the differential form of Okun's law, relating changes in the unemployment rate to real GDP growth. A baseline specification is estimated alongside an extended model that includes investment and inflation as macroeconomic controls. The results indicate a negative but weak relationship between economic growth and changes in the unemployment rate. Across all model specifications, the estimated Okun coefficients are small and statistically insignificant, suggesting limited labor market responsiveness to output growth. Including investment and inflation modestly improves the explanatory power of the model but does not fundamentally alter the results. Overall, the findings point to the prevalence of jobless growth, where economic expansion has not translated into substantial employment gains. The evidence suggests that economic growth in Romania over the past three decades has had a limited capacity to reduce unemployment. From a sustainability perspective, these findings highlight the importance of complementing growth-oriented strategies with structural and labor market policies aimed at strengthening the employment-generating potential of economic growth and supporting inclusive and sustainable development.
Ensuring the quality of educational materials requires more than standard proofreading: textbooks must be audited for factual accuracy, domain-specific technical correctness, and linguistic quality simultaneously – a task that general-purpose grammar checkers cannot address. We present AI Textbook Auditor, a modular multi-agent pipeline for automated quality assurance of educational materials across subject domains. The system accepts a textbook PDF and produces a structured, human-reviewable report via two analysis tracks: a Factual and Technical Track in which an ensemble of specialized LLM agents detects factual inaccuracies, code errors, incorrect definitions, and conceptual inconsistencies, augmented with web search for humanities domains; and a Grammar Track operating PDF-natively to preserve diacritical encoding. A Judge Agent filters false positives using domain-specific rules before presenting findings to a human reviewer. The pipeline supports two ingestion modes – vision-native page rendering and PyMuPDF text extraction – and is domain-adaptable via custom prompts encoding subject-specific error taxonomies. We demonstrate the system on two Romanian upper-secondary textbooks: a CS textbook (56 technical findings across seven categories, with an expert-validated precision of 62.5%) and a history and social sciences textbook (72 findings spanning factual errors, ideological bias, and grammar). The system is designed as a triage tool that reduces the manual effort of locating candidate issues, with human expert validation required before any editorial action.
This paper wants to propose a practical tool of working- as reliance for the process of abilities and entrepreneurial skills development- defined by flexibility, adaptibility, ease of use and quick response to business requirements requested. So, the purpose of this paper is to propose the development of an educational informatics platform which will be designed to acquire, develop and deepen the entrepreneurial knowledge, forming personal skills and behaviors applicable in all economic fields, from basic functions to the leading functions of any enterprise.
