The National University of Education Enrique Guzmán y Valle (Spanish: Universidad Nacional de Educación Enrique Guzmán y Valle), often called La Cantuta, is a university in the Lima area of Peru. The university specializes in education and administration.During the early 1990s, the university was placed under military control after receiving information that Shining Path and the Túpac Amaru Revolutionary Movement were operating inside and indoctrinating the students. On July 18, 1992, a professor and nine students from the university "disappeared" in what would come to be known as the La Cantuta massacre. The bodies of the victims were eventually discovered, and members of Grupo Colina were jailed for their participation in the massacre. Former president Alberto Fujimori was convicted of murder for his role in the massacre..
IntroductionIn the current context of persistent youth unemployment, fostering entrepreneurship represents a strategic pathway for professional and economic development. Strengthening entrepreneurial attitudes and entrepreneurial capacity among university students has become increasingly important. This study examines the relationship between entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial capacity and proposes the “Entrepreneurial Attitude” program as a theoretically grounded framework in the Peruvian context.MethodsA quantitative approach with a descriptive–correlational non-experimental design was employed. Two validated instruments were administered to a sample of 488 university students to measure entrepreneurial attitude and entrepreneurial capacity. The dimensions assessed included need for achievement, perceived control, creativity and innovation, risk predisposition, and self-confidence. Descriptive statistics, Pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression analyses were conducted.ResultsAll five dimensions of entrepreneurial attitude were positively and significantly associated with entrepreneurial capacity. The coefficients of determination (R²) ranged from 0.474 to 0.575. The regression model was statistically significant (p < 0.001) and explained 62% of the variance in entrepreneurial capacity (R² = 0.62), with risk predisposition and creativity showing the strongest predictive effects.ConclusionThe findings support the conceptual development of the “Entrepreneurial Attitude” program as an educational framework to strengthen entrepreneurial competencies. However, the program is based on correlational evidence and requires future experimental or quasi-experimental validation.
The research explores the possibility of understanding pre-Hispanic Andean philosophical thought through the use of Quechua terms such as pacha (world, universe, space and time) and pachayachachiq (the world that reveals itself). The aim has been to philosophically analyse how the runas (persons) understood their existence within a dynamic cosmos. Methodologically, the research follows a qualitative approach and hermeneutic method. The documentary recording technique was adopted for the linguistic, historical and ethnographic sources, which enabled a critical interpretation of these sources to be carried out. Furthermore, the results have shown that the term pacha constitutes a complex ontological category that integrates time, space and the generative force of energies, differing from Western conceptions. Pachayachachiq, meanwhile, emerges as a socially constructed knowledge based on the observation of the natural cycle. Andean society is therefore understood through its tetradic structure: (hanan pacha: the world above, kay pacha: the world here, uku pacha: the world within, and kuteq pacha: the changing world); these structures are articulated under principles of complementarity–reciprocity. It is concluded that the exploration of pachayachachiq has made it possible to become aware of a relational ontology that enables the realisation of a life cycle of nature, humanity and the universe. This way of understanding the world calls into question the dualist postulates of the Western worldview and proposes developing a conception of reality in relation to an endless change, thereby enriching lived experience. This way of understanding things calls into question the dualist postulates of the Western worldview and proposes bringing things closer to a conception of reality governed by constant relation, endless change and the enrichment of one’s own vital experience—a contribution to intercultural philosophy.
The research called Application of the Bosch KTS 590 scanner in the teaching performance of Electromechanics at UNE Enrique Guzmán y Valle, 2026, aimed to evaluate the effects of the application of the Bosch KTS 590 scanner in the teaching performance of Motive Power at UNE Enrique Guzmán y Valle, 2026. The approach used was quantitative, adopting a pre-experimental design, with a sample of 11 Teachers from the Motive Power study program. In this research, the degree of reliability of the instrument for measuring the teaching performance variable was determined using a Kuder-Richardson (KR-20) for the calculation of internal consistency, confirming the reliability of the instrument for the dependent variable with a value of 0.930. The result revealed that there are positive, relevant and significant effects of the application of the Bosch KTS 590 scanner on the teaching performance of the Motive Power of the UNE Enrique Guzmán y Valle, 2026.
Microplastic pollution has emerged as a critical environmental issue, extending beyond aquatic systems to significantly impact soil ecosystems and pose potential risks to human health. This research aims to analyze the global evolution of microplastic risk assessment research through a scientometric approach. Data was collected from the Scopus database using a structured search strategy, and analyzed using VOSviewer, Bibliometrix, and CiteSpace to identify publication trends, keyword co-occurrence networks, and thematic evolution. The results reveal a marked increase in research output since 2020, with a transition from early descriptive studies on microplastic occurrence (2013–2016) toward mechanistic and integrated risk assessment frameworks (2021–2025). Key research clusters include physicochemical processes such as adsorption and transport in porous media, soil accumulation and land-use impacts, microbial interactions analyzed through metagenomics, plant–microplastic interactions affecting crop productivity, and emerging concerns related to human health exposure. Furthermore, widely used indices such as Pollution Load Index Polymer Hazard Index and Potential Ecological Risk Index demonstrate variability in risk estimation, highlighting the lack of methodological standardization. Overall, the research concludes that microplastic risk assessment has evolved into a multidisciplinary and increasingly complex field, requiring the development of standardized, multi-compartment, and predictive frameworks to support environmental management and sustainability-oriented decision-making.
