Effective monitoring of CO2 leaks from carbon capture and storage (CCS) sites is vital to mitigate environmental risks, including soil acidification and ecosystem disruption. This study presents a novel, sustainable biosensor based on betanin from Beta vulgaris (beetroot) extract for pH-responsive colorimetric detection of soil CO2 leakage, coupled with smartphone imaging for quantitative analysis. Central to the investigation is a comparative evaluation of Academy Color Encoding System (ACES) AP0 and AP1 primaries against sRGB and DaVinci Wide Gamut color spaces, highlighting AP1’s advantages in perceptual uniformity, reduced metamerism, and enhanced computational efficiency for resolving subtle color gradients (effective LOD 0.015 wt
This study aims to analyze the meaning of the hadith of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) concerning four factors considered in choosing a spouse: wealth, lineage, beauty, and religion. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method and the ma' ani al- ḥadīth analysis to examine both the textual and contextual meanings of the hadith. The findings indicate that the mention of these four factors in the hadith is descriptive of the social realities of society rather than a normative sequence that must be followed. The Prophet Muhammad explicitly directed Muslims to prioritize religious commitment as the primary criterion in selecting a life partner. The study demonstrates that religion and moral character serve as the fundamental foundation for building a harmonious and sustainable household. Academically, this research contributes to strengthening the contextual understanding of hadith and highlights its relevance in addressing the growing tendencies of materialism in contemporary marriage culture.
This study aims to examine the effects of price, service, payment methods, and products on customer satisfaction at coffee shops in Pangkalpinang City. This research adopts a quantitative approach and employs a non probability sampling method using a convenience sampling technique. The number of respondents in this study was 120 customers who purchased coffee at coffee shops more than twice per month. Structural Equation Modelling Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) was used to analyze the data, supported by the SmartPLS 4 application. The results show that price, service quality, and product variables positively and significantly influence customer satisfaction, whereas the payment method variable has no significant effect on customer satisfaction at coffee shops in Pangkalpinang City. This study is expected to provide strategic input for coffee shop business owners in Pangkalpinang City to enhance customer satisfaction by setting suitable coffee prices, implementing professional service standards, and offering appropriate product variety and quality, thereby enabling more optimal use of business resources.
This study analyzes the reconstruction of the concept of emotional boundary in Surah Maryam (19:41–47) through the al-adab al-ijtimā‘ī interpretive approach and Murray Bowen Bowen Family Systems Theory (BFST). It is motivated by the increasing phenomenon of family estrangement, emotional cutoff, and no-contact practices in modern families caused by value conflicts and emotional distress. The study aims to examine the construction of emotional boundary in Surah Maryam (19:41–47), reconstruct the Qur’anic concept of relational boundaries, and relate it to BFST within contemporary family dynamics. This research is a library study using tafsir ijtimā‘ī and contextual approaches. Primary data are drawn from Tafsir Al-Mishbah by M. Quraish Shihab, supported by classical commentaries such as Jami' al-Bayan, Al-Jami' li Ahkam al-Qur'an, and Tafsir Ibn Kathir. The analysis involves textual examination of verses, comparative exegesis, identification of relational values, and conceptual dialogue with BFST. The findings show that Surah Maryam (19:41–47) constructs emotional boundary through empathetic communication, emotional regulation, and firm faith commitment. Prophet Ibrahim (peace be upon him) maintains respect while establishing boundaries when faith is threatened. The study formulates Peaceful No Contact as an ethical and spiritual model of Qur’anic family relations
This article explores the transformation of De Poerwokertosche Hulp-en Spaarbank (H SB) from a philanthropic credit institution to a more commercially oriented organization. This institution initially aimed to provide affordable agricultural credit. However, due to internal and external factors, its orientation gradually shifted to a more commercial one. This article employs a historical study, collected from archival materials at the Arsip Nasional Republik Indonesia (AN RI, National Archives of the Republic of Indonesia), as well as colonial sources such as periodicals and government reports. The findings indicate that internal factors, such as resource constraints and the use of collateral, as well as external factors, such as government intervention through the volkscredietwezen system, contributed to the shift in the HSB's objectives. This article contributes to the literature by providing an insight into the complexity of balancing social objectives and financial sustainability within financial institutions in colonial Indonesia.
