The research aims to examine the antecedents of Fintech Peer-to-Peer (P2P) lending adoption in Indonesia by extending the UTAUT3 framework with financial risk tolerance and artificial intelligence literacy. It also explores the moderating role of green self-identity and gender differences in P2P lending adoption. Data were collected from 421 respondents in Indonesia using a non-probability voluntary response sampling approach and analyzed using the PLS-SEM method. The results indicate that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, social influence, and AI literacy have a positive and significant influence on behavioral intention toward P2P lending. Facilitating conditions positively and significantly affect use behavior. Green self-identity weakens the relationship between behavioral intention and use behavior. No significant gender differences were found in the correlations between behavioral intention, use behavior, and financial inclusion. This study advances the literature on financial innovation by bridging theory and practice in the context of AI-enabled Fintech P2P lending. By integrating empirical evidence with policy considerations, the findings highlight the importance of collaboration between regulators and Fintech providers in fostering responsible innovation. The results provide actionable implications for designing user-centered lending systems that enhance financial inclusion. In this regard, the study contributes to the advancement of inclusive digital finance and supports Indonesia’s broader strategic objective of expanding sustainable and equitable access to financial services.
Limited access to productive skills training remains a major constraint in the development of household-based creative economies, particularly among housewives in Kemang Manis Village. This community service program aimed to enhance community skills and creativity through training in decorating plant pots using the decoupage technique, which has aesthetic and economic value. The activity was implemented through several stages, including preparation, hands-on practical training, evaluation of participants’ work, and mentoring for the establishment of small business groups. A total of 30 participants took part in the program using a participatory approach. The results indicate that participants were able to understand and apply basic decoupage techniques to plant pots and produce handicraft products with potential market value. In addition to improving individual skills, the program encouraged the formation of small business groups to support the sustainability of productive community activities. Overall, this community service program contributed to strengthening economic independence and community empowerment through creative skill development.
Law enforcement against fisheries crimes constitutes a strategic instrument for safeguarding fisheries sustainability and strengthening state sovereignty over Indonesian waters. South Sumatra Province, characterized by extensive riverine, estuarine, and coastal fisheries, continues to experience a high incidence of illegal fishing, particularly the use of prohibited trawl fishing gear and fishing vessels operating without valid licenses. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of fisheries crime law enforcement conducted by investigators of the Water and Air Police Directorate (Ditpolairud) of the South Sumatra Regional Police and to identify the principal obstacles affecting criminal investigation processes. This research employed an empirical juridical approach using qualitative methods through library research, case document analysis, and interviews with Ditpolairud investigators and relevant stakeholders. The findings reveal that law enforcement remains suboptimal due to three major categories of obstacles. First, internal constraints include limited patrol vessels, an insufficient number of investigators with specialized expertise in fisheries crimes, and inadequate operational funding. Second, external constraints consist of low legal awareness among fishermen, economic pressures encouraging the use of prohibited fishing gear, and the extensive geographical characteristics of South Sumatra's rivers, estuaries, and coastal waters, which complicate surveillance and enforcement activities. Third, structural constraints involve weak inter-agency coordination among Ditpolairud, the Ministry of Marine Affairs and Fisheries, local governments, and the prosecution service, as well as regulatory challenges following amendments to fisheries legislation. These constraints have reduced the effectiveness of criminal investigations, weakened the deterrent effect of law enforcement, and contributed to repeated fisheries violations. The study recommends strengthening the institutional capacity of Ditpolairud through improved operational facilities, specialized investigator training, enhanced inter-agency coordination, and continuous legal awareness programs for fishing communities to improve the effectiveness of fisheries crime law enforcement. Keywords: law enforcement; fisheries crime; Water and Air Police; illegal fishing; criminal investigation
This study aims to analyze the influence of work discipline, compensation, and motivation on employee performance at PT. Sakti Prima Ogan Ilir. The type of research used is associative research with a sample of 61 employees. The sampling technique applied is probability sampling using a simple random sampling method. The data used in this study consist of primary and secondary data, collected through questionnaires and documentation. The data analysis method employed is qualitative analysis quantified into statistical form, using multiple linear regression analysis, F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination. The results indicate that work discipline, compensation, and motivation have a significant effect on employee performance. The coefficient of determination value of 72.4% shows that these three variables can explain employee performance, while the remaining 27.6% is influenced by other variables not included in this study.
This study analyzes the implementation of remission policies at the Class IIB Detention Center in Prabumulih and evaluates their alignment with Indonesia’s correctional goals of rehabilitation and social reintegration. It also examines the challenges encountered in the remission process, including overcrowding, inconsistent monitoring of rehabilitation programs, and concerns about fairness, particularly for serious offenders. Using a qualitative empirical approach, the research combines legal analysis with in-depth interviews involving prison officials, inmates, and legal experts, as well as documentation of remission data. The findings show that, in general, inmates who receive remission have fulfilled the required legal criteria. Remission is granted in two forms: general remission, typically provided during national and religious holidays, and special remission, which is given to inmates demonstrating significant rehabilitative progress. However, the effectiveness of the policy is constrained by several factors, including overcrowded conditions and inconsistent supervision of inmate development programs. In addition, public perceptions of fairness, especially regarding remission for serious offenders, pose challenges to the credibility of the system. These issues highlight the need for greater transparency and consistency in policy implementation. In conclusion, while remission policies contribute to the correctional objectives of rehabilitation and reintegration, improvements are necessary. Strengthening access to rehabilitation programs, enhancing monitoring mechanisms, and increasing public awareness about the purpose of remission are recommended to ensure a more effective, fair, and accountable system.
