Understanding how cultural identity and inherited values shape career trajectories is a key issue in diaspora studies. This study focuses on the case of the Lebanese diaspora in the Americas, its identity markers, and its narratives of identity pride. For that purpose, an online survey was conducted in 2021 with 507 individuals of Lebanese descent living in the Americas, mainly in M & eacute;xico, followed by Argentina, Ecuador, Colombia, and other countries. Analysis of results shows predominant self-identification as Lebanese, as well as a very common dual pattern of pride combining their Lebanese heritage with the American country of birth or residence. Lebanese language proficiency is limited, and feelings of disconnection from their Lebanese local community is most common among those who do not understand the language. Regarding narratives of identity pride, the most frequent values highlighted are roots, culture, and family on one side, but also relational and prosocial values, which often could be associated with jobs chosen by the interviewees in professions related to business and commerce.

To develop future improvements, the main challenges identified include achieving greater international visibility, more equity in production, and consolidating collaborative networks among countries.
In recent years, the increase in the number of female football players around the world has been unstoppable. Considering the current context in which the feminist movement has raised awareness of various struggles to claim women's place in different spaces-including football- this study seeks to examine the difficulties and opportunities they face, as well as the actions needed to consolidate this trend. To study this phenomenon, the case of women's football in the town of Mar de la Plata (Argentina) was chosen, and the trajectories and narratives of nine female football players of different ages and experiences were reconstructed. The results highlight some areas for improvement: creating girls' football teams so that they can start playing before the age of 10; promoting fair compensation and recognition for players in advanced stages of their athletic careers; generating dissemination strategies on social networks and in the media to increase the visibility of women's football; and implementing institutional policies that promote gender equality in this sport.
Work-related events and the conditions that shape their development generate various situations with psychosocial risks that can negatively impact workers' quality of life. This study aims to identify the prevalence and impact of psychosocial factors in the workplace, relating them to personal, family, and social aspects, as well as psychological burnout. A non-experimental, cross-sectional study was conducted in 2023 with a sample of 26 workers from the municipality of La Guajira, in northern Colombia. The "ILSFI COVID" COVID-19 Impact Assessment Battery was used, consisting of four dimensions: work, social, family, and individual, with a total of 65 items and dichotomous (yes/no) responses. The results showed that the evaluated personnel adopted workplace safety measures, reported good housing conditions, access to health services, and positive interpersonal relationships. However, the personnel also indicated experiencing negative emotions and reported disruptions to their sleep quality.
Bullfighting companies are adapting their strategies to social media. To investigate their use, this study focuses on how Plaza 1 (Madrid) and Pag & eacute;s (Seville) used Instagram during their 2023 fairs. Using content and data analysis, the research examines the type of posts that generated the most impact and interaction. The results reveal that video is the most effective format, especially when it includes prominent figures such as bullfighters. It also highlights the effectiveness of Plaza 1's emotional marketing in connecting with younger audiences through visually appealing content. Although Plaza 1 has more followers than Pag & eacute;s, engagement is not proportional. The results show that the key factor in generating interaction is not the number of posts or followers, but the quality of the content. It can therefore be concluded that posts that appeal to emotions and feature prominent figures are crucial for success on Instagram.
Proposals to develop online citizen participation have increased in recent years. In this context, the aim of this research is to analyze and synthesize existing knowledge on citizen participation to identify theoretical and operational gaps and advance towards the construction of an institutional proposal aligned with the principles of deliberative democracy. The methodology consists of an integrative and systematic review of publications and technical documents issued between 2005 and 2025, from which 109 sources were selected for analysis. The findings reveal recurrent deficits in traceability, intermediation, transparency and digital literacy. Building on this evidence, a preliminary proposal known as the "Red de Deliberaci & oacute;n Estable (RDE)" has been developed, incorporating innovations such as the figure of the "Ciudadano Deliberador" and specific procedures to strengthen online participatory processes.
International retirement migration occurs at an advanced age, which often requires contact with the local health and social services system. The aim of this research is to identifythe problems and expectations regarding Spanish public services in the case of retirement migrants from Central Europe who settle in the Community of Valencia and the Costa del Sol. The methodology is qualitative and involves 17 semi-structured interviews with social and health workers, associations of translators, interpreters, and volunteers, and retired migrants. It confirms that they are attracted by the climate, a lower cost of living, and a higher quality of life. Among the problems highlighted are their reluctance to register with the local authorities and their arrival with unrealistic expectations about the social protection system and negative stereotypes. In addition, their informal support networks are insufficient to assist them in periods of high vulnerability. Finally, mutual lack of knowledge of the language becomes a key barrier that generates isolation and mistrust, and therefore actions are proposed to improve the system.
Since the late 20th century, Spain has consolidated its position as a major destination for international migration, reshaping its social and cultural structure. As migrant populations have settled and formed families, a second generation has emerged, growing up in environments characterized by cultural diversity. Using a case study approach, this article examines how the sons and daughters of mixed and endogamous couples construct their cultural identity and social integration within the Spanish context. The research employs a qualitative methodology combining indepth interviews and discourse analysis. Findings reveal hybrid and dynamic identities, marked by tensions between self-identification and social pressures to adopt dichotomous categories. The study highlights symbolic strategies for negotiating belonging, experiences of everyday discrimination, and the persistence of exclusionary normative frameworks. These insights underscore the need to rethink integration policies through more inclusive approaches that acknowledge the complexity of identity trajectories in multicultural societies.

How do adolescents perceive environmental risks and the principles of ecofeminism? The objectives of this research are to analyze the ability of a group of young people to link environmental degradation and gender inequality and to test whether non-formal education influences the development of environmental and gender awareness. A qualitative methodology is used, involving interviews with two focus groups of young people in Spain, one from an educational center and the other from a non-formal education project. The results reveal that the first group has difficulty relating gender and the environment and shows environmental emotions centered on frustration and fear. In contrast, the second group shows a more systemic view, relating gender inequality, environmental degradation, and social justice, as well as channeling eco-anxiety into collective action. It is concluded that, in the case studied, non-formal education promotes a more ecofeminist awareness, providing keys for integrating its approaches into formal education.
