1Resiliencia Y Adaptación En Los Procesos De Cambio En El Sistema De Bibliotecas De La Universidad De Antioquia

2A Bibliometric Analysis of Digital Literacy in Healthcare
    Berna Sertgöz, Ali Osman Uymaz

This study aims to elucidate the structure and development of the existing literature on digital literacy in healthcare through bibliometric analysis, with a particular emphasis on studies involving service users and patients. Although the search strategy incorporated terms related to service users and patients, the resulting dataset also encompassed studies involving other population groups, including healthcare professionals and students. A staged search of the Web of Science database, conducted on August 27, 2025, identified 720 publications from 2007 to 2025. Data were analyzed using the bibliometrix package and the biblioshiny web interface in RStudio. The analysis examined publication trends by year, influential journals, sources, and authors, frequently used keywords, and patterns of international collaboration. Findings revealed that the Journal of Medical Internet Research was the most influential journal, while Kayser L. and Mosch L. shared the highest h-index (h-index = 5). The three most frequently used keywords were telemedicine, digital health, and digital literacy. The results highlighted a gap in the literature regarding patients digital literacy and identified telemedicine, telehealth, COVID-19, and digital health as current research themes. Future studies are recommended to focus on the intersection of digital literacy, digital health, and patient-related topics.

3Linked Data for Visualizing and Retrieving RDA Relationships
    Eder Avila Barrientos

This study proposes a theoretical-practical methodology for applying linked data to the visualization and retrieval of relationships defined by RDA (Resource Description and Access), using Pedro P & aacute;ramo by Juan Rulfo as a case study. It is based on the premise that, although RDA and the IFLA Library Reference Model (LRM) provide a solid conceptual framework for representing bibliographic entities and relationships, their potential remains limited in traditional systems based on linear formats such as MARC21.The methodology is structured in five phases: selection of a corpus of MARC21 records, including editions, translations, and adaptations of the work; transformation of data into RDF using OpenRefine and vocabularies such as the RDA Registry, SKOS, and schema.org; construction of a knowledge graph in Neo4j with typed nodes and relationships; execution of Cypher queries to explore translations, manifestations, thematic links, and adaptations; and evaluation of navigability and semantic retrieval in comparison with traditional catalogs. The results show that the knowledge graph enhances the visualization and analysis of complex relationships, enabling the identification of connections not easily detectable in conventional systems. The explicit semantic representation improves both the precision and completeness of information retrieval. Additionally, the model proves to be replicable across other bibliographic corpora and aligns with Semantic Web principles, supporting interoperability and data reuse. Key challenges include data normalization, technical training, and scalability when handling large volumes of information.

4Evaluation of the Scientific Output of a Science, Technology and Innovation Institution
    Yitsy Collantes Perez,Yariannis Cuba Rodriguez

Introduction: Scientific research is crucial for the advancement of knowledge, and therefore the work carried out in science, technology, and innovation entities acquires special relevance. Analyzing research performance in these communities constitutes a latent need. Information Science offers analytical tools such as metric disciplines, due to their usefulness in the study of scientific production. Objective: To identify bibliometrics indicators that allow characterizing science, technology, and innovation entities. Methodology: A documentary analysis of various sources of information done for the bibliographic compilation in the elaboration of the conceptual theoretical framework. At the same time was developed the analysis and synthesis of different theoretical-methodological approaches to the evaluation of science, addressing theoretical-conceptual criteria. Results and discussion: A system of indicators is presented that covers the areas of activity, production, and collaboration, a perspective for assessing the performance of a given entity based on its scientific production. This was made possible by analyzing previously applied evaluation methods, which revealed shortcomings that make it difficult to identify research patterns, assess collaboration between researchers and institutions, and improve decision-making. Conclusions: The theoretical and methodological foundation for the evaluation of an entity revealed trends in the evaluation. At the same time, it allowed for the establishment of an analytical position with an ideal approach and indicators for understanding scientific performance. The proposal, which can be used as a complement to other evaluation bodies, is beneficial because it facilitates the quantification of results and the exploration of research trends and scientific leaders.

5Student Perception of the Implementation of a Didactic Guide for the Teaching of the Dewey Decimal Classification System at the School of Library and Information Science of the University of Costa Rica (2022-2024)
    Wilson Hernandez-Arroyo, Desiree Rodriguez Calvo

This article analyzes the implementation of a didactic guide designed to support the learning of the Dewey Decimal Classification System (DCDS) in the Classification course of the School of Library and Information Science of the University of Costa Rica. The study arose from the need to strengthen the teaching-learning processes in complex technical contents such as document classification. The main objective was to evaluate the pedagogical effectiveness of the guide, from the students' perception. The approach was mixed, with a descriptive design. The quantitative phase consisted of a survey applied to 36 students enrolled in the second cycle 2024, while the qualitative phase was based on two retrospective focus groups with participants of cycles 2022 and 2023. Data was collected on structure, clarity, usefulness, design, learning styles and practical application. The results show a high appreciation of the resource: 83.4 % felt that the guide allowed for progressive and organized learning; 75 % highlighted the clarity of the instructions, and 80.5 % rated the practical exercises positively. However, areas for improvement were noted, such as the inclusion of more complex examples and interactive resources. It is concluded that the guide represents an effective and transferable resource to the professional context, although its adaptability to different learning styles should be strengthened. The study shows the potential of open teaching materials in library education.
