Ethnopharmacological relevance: Xuesaitong (XST) is a traditional Chinese medicine injection with neuroprotective properties and has been extensively used to treat stroke for many years. The main component of XST is Panax notoginseng saponins (PNS), which is the main extract of the Chinese herbal medicine Panax notoginseng. Aim of the study: In this study, we investigated whether XST provided long-term neuroprotection by inhibiting neurite outgrowth inhibitor-A (Nogo-A) and the ROCKII pathway in experimental rats after middle cerebral artery occlusion (MCAO) and in SH-SY5Y cells exposed to oxygen-glucose deprivation/reperfusion (OGD/R). Materials and methods: Rats with permanent MCAO were administered XST, Y27632, XST plus Y27632, and nimodipine for 14 and 28 days. Successful MCAO onset was confirmed by 2,3,5-triphenyl tetrazolium chloride (TTC) staining. Neurological deficit score (NDS) was used to assess neurological impairment. Hematoxylin-eosin (HE) staining and immunohistochemical (IHC) analysis of synaptophysin (SYN) and postsynaptic density protein 95 (PSD-95) were performed to evaluate cerebral ischemic injury and the neuroprotective capability of XST. Nogo-A levels and the ROCKII pathway were detected by IHC analysis, western blotting, and quantitative realtime polymerase chain reaction (qRT-PCR) to explore the protective mechanism of XST. OGD/R model was established in SH-SY5Y cells. Cell counting kit 8 (CCK8) was applied to detect the optimum OGD time and XST concentration. The expression levels Nogo-A and ROCKII pathway were determined using western blotting. Results: Our results showed that XST reduced neurological dysfunction and pathological damage, promoted weight gain and synaptic regeneration, reduced Nogo-A mRNA and protein levels, and inhibited the ROCKII pathway in MCAO rats. CCK8 assay displayed that the optimal OGD time and optimal XST concentration were 7 h and 20 mu g/mL respectively in SH-SY5Y cells. XST could evidently inhibit OGD/R-induced Nogo-A protein expression and ROCKII pathway activation in SH-SY5Y cells. Conclusions: The present study suggested that XST exerted long-term neuroprotective effects that assisted in stroke recovery, possibly through inhibition of the ROCKII pathway.
口腔黏膜病是发生于口腔黏膜及其黏膜下软组织的疾病和症状的总称.冯兴华教授对中医治疗口腔疾病有独到见解,提出肝郁脾虚、湿热内蕴是口腔黏膜病的主要病机,疏肝健脾、清热燥湿为主要治疗方法,临床应用加味芩连平胃散治疗口腔黏膜病,取得了较好的临床疗效.结合加味芩连平胃散治疗复发性阿弗他溃疡、灼口综合征、腺性唇炎3个验案进行阐述.
Context. About 15 million people worldwide suffer strokes each year and 5 million people are left with permanent disabilities which is due to the loss of local blood supply to the brain, resulting in a neurologic deficit.Panax notoginseng(Bruk.) F. H. Chen (Araliaceae) is a traditional Chinese herbal medicine widely used in the treatment of cardio-cerebrovascular diseases.Objective. This study investigated whetherPanax notoginsengsaponins (PNS) extracted fromPanax notoginseng(Bruk.) F. H. Chen played a neuroprotective role by affecting the EGFR/PI3K/AKT pathway in oxygen-glucose deprived (OGD) SH-SY5Y cells.Materials and Methods. Different groups of OGD SH-SY5Y cells were treated with varying doses of PNS, PNS + AG1478 (a specific inhibitor of EGFR), or AG1478 for 16 hours. CCK8, Annexin V-FITC/PI apoptosis analysis, and LDH release analysis were used to determine cell viability, apoptosis rate, and amounts of LDH. Quantitative real-time PCR (q-RT-PCR) and western blotting were used to measure mRNA and proteins levels of p-EGFR/EGFR, p-PI3K/PI3K, and p-AKT/AKT in SH-SY5Y cells subjected to OGD.Results. PNS significantly enhanced cell viability, reduced apoptosis, and weakened cytotoxicity by inhibiting the release of LDH. The mRNA expression profiles of EGFR, PI3K, and AKT showed no difference between model and other groups. Additionally, ratios of p-EGFR, p-PI3K, and p-AKT to EGFR, PI3K, and AKT proteins expression, respectively, all increased significantly.Conclusions. These findings indicate that PNS enhanced neuroprotective effects by activating the EGFR/PI3K/AKT pathway and elevating phosphorylation levels in OGD SH-SY5Y cells.
目的:探析口腔种植牙术后肿胀疼痛采取新癀片进行治疗的效果及对炎性因子的影响.方法:选取2015年1月至2019年12月北京中医药大学东直门医院收治的口腔种植牙术后肿胀疼痛患者300例作为研究对象,按照随机数字表法随机分为对照组和观察组,每组150例,对照组采用红霉素治疗,观察组采用新癀片联合红霉素治疗,比较2组患者术后肿胀和术后疼痛持续时间、牙槽骨吸收量、种植牙功能、种植体唇侧骨厚度、周围边缘骨吸收量、炎性反应因子水平、治疗优良率等指标.结果:与对照组比较,观察组术后肿胀持续时间、术后疼痛持续时间明显较短(P<0.05);观察组种植牙功能评分等明显高于对照组(P<0.05);观察组种植体唇侧骨厚度、周围边缘骨吸收量与对照组比较有明显差别(P<0.05);观察组CPR、IL-6、PCT等炎性反应因子水平明显较低(P<0.05);观察组治疗总有效率明显高于对照组(P<0.05).结论:口腔种植牙术后肿胀疼痛应用新癀片进行治疗,能获得较为理想的效果,改善炎性反应因子水平,有着极大的推广价值.
目的 建立SH-SY5Y细胞缺糖缺氧损伤模型,考察注射用血塞通对缺糖缺氧损伤SH-SY5Y细胞存活、凋亡及Lingo-1 mRNA及蛋白表达的影响.方法 采用RPMI 1640无糖培养基和三气培养箱缺氧法制备SH-SY5Y细胞缺糖缺氧损伤模型,CCK8法测定细胞存活率,确定最佳缺氧时间及最适注射用血塞通质量浓度,Annexin V-FITC/PI双染法检测SH-SY5Y细胞凋亡率,并通过实时荧光定量PCR (qRT-PCR)方法测定Lingo-1 mRNA表达情况,Western blotting法测定Lingo-1蛋白表达情况.结果 SH-SY5Y细胞缺糖缺氧损伤模型的最佳缺氧时间为16h,注射用血塞通最适质量浓度为640 mg/L,在该质量浓度条件作用下,血塞通组与模型组相比,SH-SY5Y细胞的凋亡率显著降低,Lingo-1的mRNA表达水平及蛋白表达水平均显著降低.结论 当SH-SY5Y细胞受到缺糖缺氧损伤后,细胞凋亡率显著升高,Lingo-1呈高表达状态,血塞通可以明显减少缺糖缺氧损伤SH-SY5Y细胞的凋亡,同时抑制Lingo-1的高表达,具有抑制凋亡和显著的神经保护作用.
出血性中风是在正气内虚的基础上,因内伤积损日久而使暗风、伏火等邪气内生,遇气候骤变、情志相激等诱因扰动气机,使气机逆乱"气之与血,并走于上"则导致络破脉损、血液溢出脉络之外而发为中风,急性期病机由"瘀停脉外、压迫神机","津行不畅、痰水形成","诸邪胶结、化毒伤脑"三个病理过程共同构成,恢复期虽病情趋于稳定,但局部脑髓空虚使症状难以得到完全恢复而留有后遗症,而诸邪伏藏又为复中风和呆病的发生构成风险.
Objective To discuss the curative effect of integrated therapy of Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of periodontal disease induced by faulty prosthesis.Methods The patients was given periodontal non-surgical treatment and surgical crown lengthening accompanied by gargle with Chinese medicinals without removing faulty prosthesis.The changes of dental plaque index,bleeding index,tooth mobility and probing depth were compared before and after the treatment.Results The plaque index was(2.50±0.51) before the treatment and(1.52±0.57) four weeks after the treatment.The bleeding index was(3.44±0.95) before the treatment and(3.25± 0.84) four weeks after the treatment.The probing depth was(3.89±2.01) mm before the treatment and(1.35±0.47) mm four weeks after the treatment(P <0.05).Among 32 teeth,4 had grade Ⅰ mobility and had no changes after the treatment,and 2 had grade Ⅰ mobility due to more desclerotization.Conclusion The treatment of periodontal disease with periodontal non-surgical treatment and surgical crown lengthening accompanied by gargle with Chinese medicinals without removing faulty prosthesis has desirable curative effect.
Objective To observe the curative effect of Kouchuang Yin on recurrent oral ulcer in clinic. Methods The patients (n=60) with recurrent oral ulcer were divided into the treatment group and control group (each n=30). The treatment group was given Kouchuang Yin and control group, Kouyanqing Keli. A therapeutic course was 3 months. The total numbers and interval of ulcer were observed for judging long-term curative effect. Results The cure rate, obvious effective rate and total effective rate were all higher in the treatment group than those in the control group. The total numbers of ulcer were less in the treatment group than those in the control group, and the total interval of ulcer was longer in the treatment group than that in the control group. Conclusion Kouchuangyin Keli had a significant advantage in decreasing ulcer numbers and prolonging the interval.
目的:评价中药牙周合剂治疗慢性牙周炎的临床效果.方法:试验对符合研究条件的19例病人的190颗牙齿,采用随机双盲对照分组,对照组88颗牙和治疗组102颗牙,分别检查其牙周探诊深度、探诊出血、牙齿松动度,观察牙龈红肿、牙龈出血、牙齿松动、口臭等主观症状,并进行口腔卫生宣教,对2组受试牙进行龈上洁治后,1周后复诊,实施超声龈下刮治术,对照组治疗中以蒸馏水进行冲洗,后以复方硼砂漱口液含漱,每日3次,共做4周;治疗组治疗中以中药合剂反复进行牙周冲洗,后以中药合剂含漱,每日3次,共做4周,第4周复诊,再次检查上述牙周指征和临床主观症状,对比前后变化以观察治疗疗效.结果:治疗组与对照组总有效率分别为91.97%和76.14%,在探诊深度、龈炎指数、牙体动度的改善上,治疗组均好于对照组.结论:清热解毒、活血化瘀、补肾壮骨中药在抑制炎症反应,改善局部血循环,促进骨组织再生,有很好的疗效.中西医结合可优势互补,提高疗效,在治疗慢性口腔疾病方面,具有较为可观的前景.

评价辨证分期使用中药治疗传染性非典型肺炎(严重急性呼吸综合征,SARS)的临床疗效.方法:选取60例确诊为SARS的患者,随机分为中西医结合组和西药组各30例,中西医结合组按进展期和恢复期给予中药,同时给予西医基础治疗;西药组用西药基础治疗.对两组在体温、症状、X线胸片、血常规、激素用量等方面进行观察.结果:中西医结合组可以减少激素日均量、促进肺部炎症吸收,症状改善较西药组明显,两组退热时间无明显差异.结论:中药参与治疗SARS有效,比单纯西药治疗具有一定优势.
观察固齿增骨散治疗慢性牙周炎31例,并设对照组30例.其中固齿增骨散显效率8.87%,有效率62.09%,总有效率70.96%;对照组30例,显效率0%,有效率33.33%,总有效率33.33%.结果显示:固齿增骨散在降低菌斑指数和龈炎指数、减轻牙动度,提高咬合力及改善全身症状方面,明显优于对照组(P<0.05),治疗期间未发现其不良反应.
