词汇是检验医学英语学习的重点和难点.思维导图作为表达发散性思维的有效图形思维工具,从词汇的结构、词源、专业课程的特点等方面运用思维导图引导学生学习专业英语词汇,通过问卷星调查和课堂效果观察,运用思维导图能帮助学生提高专业英语学习兴趣和学习能力.

作为一项传达意义的活动,翻译在不同程度上必会受到语境的制约.本文基于维索尔伦语境关系顺应理论,结合翻译过程,提出了翻译语境关系顺应的框架:重新界定翻译语境,强调了翻译语境对语言选择的影响,以及译者在翻译活动中的重要性.

In her proofreading work of English abstracts for Basic Medical Education,the author has found some common errors and improper expressions in English abstracts for articles on medical science. This article analyzes these common errors and improper ex-pressions and discusses possible strategies for translating them.

In the teaching of college English translation teaching the professional literatures can be applied as the corpora for translation practice,which is aimed at improving the practical ability of students’translation under the guidance of translation theory.Abstracts of medical papers for translation practice should take the students as the center,to explain the translation teaching theory of college English,such as manifestation theory,combine the cultivation of students’translation ability with social demand,the translation teaching with the students’demand for development so as to promote the organic combination of the translation teaching with the reality.

Good translation of abstracts is very helpful in promoting research results to enter international scientific forum.With medical abstracts as an example,this paper analyzes explicitation phenomenon in translating abstracts on the basis of corpus.In this study,it builds 2 corpora: a parallel corpus(CMAC CMATC) and a comparable corpus(CMATC NMAC).As a result,it finds that there is a clear explicitation phenomenon in both conjunction and pronoun translation.So we should decide how to use explicitation technique in translating certain conjunctions and pronouns so as to make our translation more appropriate and expressive.

在发放调查问卷并进行需求分析的基础上,从ESP教学理念出发,提出在医学院校设置医学翻译选修课,并就教学目的、原则、方法和内容进行了探讨。医学翻译选修课有利于在医学生中树立医学翻译概念,培养初步的医学文献翻译能力,更好地衔接大学英语教学与医学生日后的实际工作需要。

Clarity is the foremost requirement in translating manuals of imported medical devices so that users can completely understand the instructions.This paper discusses by way of examples how to translate manuals of medical devices.It is contended that by using such skills as specification,amplification and structural adjustment,the original logic,grammatical and semantic relations could be effectively explicated in the translation,thus making the Chinese renditions clear for end users.

现实中大量的作为企业外经贸活动基础的企业外宣文化的译介,需要切实的翻译标准指导,以使之有章可循。本文从语篇功能转换的角度,结合具体译例提出了指导企业外宣文化译介的标准,即以译语读者为中心,指示功能"灵活对等";以地道句式准确转换信息功能,并体现出中西文化的差异。

Based on basic retrieval,the article searches documents of CBM in recent years and draws out 3000 articles,makes statistics on occurring rate of auxiliary subject words in it and analyzes the result.The author hopes that information users can find out research hot points and characteristics of medical documents in order to serve better for medical research.

Teaching at different levels is a new teaching model totally different from the traditional ones,which reflects the idea of teaching students in accordance of their aptitude.During its practice,there appeared such problems as class management,language test etc.On the basis of English learning features of college students and different teaching purposes,the article puts forward some suggestions from the perspective of both English teachers and teaching organizers so as to make this new teaching model more effective.
