The host preference of an insect can be genetic,caused by otherwise heritable environmental effects,or shaped by experience within the insect's lifetime.While genetic variation in habitat selection appears to be widespread it can be extremely difficult to prove that host preferences observed in the field have a genetic basis and are not the result of other factors,such as temperature,nutrition,conditioning and inherited environmental effects.There is some published evidence that inherited environmental effects influence habitat selection and that experience can modify feeding and oviposition preferences.Although a Pavlovian conditioning test and a nervous tissue grafting test challenged the assumptions of the preimaginal conditioning hypothesis,this result needs further investigation.The feeding and oviposition preferences of polyphagous flies in urban garbage were more plastic than those of saprophagous flies.
本文在仓库内评价了多孔淀粉包埋的昆虫引诱剂对书虱的诱捕效果.结果显示:在试验的72d内,多孔淀粉诱芯引诱书虱的平均数量始终保持在1 463头以上,而同剂量的硅胶垫诱芯引诱书虱的平均数量从第7d开始就逐渐下降.从试验的第28d开始至试验结束,多孔淀粉诱芯引诱书虱的平均数量显著高于硅胶垫诱芯.改变引诱剂和多孔淀粉的配比会影响诱芯引诱书虱的效果,总体来看,2g多孔淀粉+1mL引诱剂制得的诱芯的引诱效果最好.由于多孔淀粉诱芯具有缓释效果好、无污染、无残留,对粮食安全等优点,因此在储粮害虫的引诱技术中有很好的应用前景.
Four methods for detecting phosphine resistance of stored grain pests were described,including traditional and improved FAO method,rapid knockdown time method and molecular method. The characteristics of four methods were reviewed and their interactions were discussed. Recent molecular researches on phosphine resistance,especially in stored product pests,were also introduced.
The high effective attractant was made with food volatiles and several stored product insects pheromone,which was microencapsuled by porous starch.The trapping effect on insects was studied in Lubei National Grain Storage Depot and Center Depot of Zhongshan Grain Reserve Management Ltd.respectively.The results showed that this attractant could effectively forecast occurrence of booklice population,and comparing with the traditional probe sampling,the insects numbers which trapped by the attractant coincided with the actual damage tendency of pests,furthermore,this attractant could also forecast the occurrence position of stored grain insects.In Center Depot of Zhongshan Grain Reserve Management Ltd.,the results showed that it had more significant trapping effect against booklice by combining the attractant with self-made trapper than the Moth patrol traps,the insects amounts trapped by the attractant were up to 6,500 heads of booklice,meanwhile,the field test also discovered that there were significant difference in trapping booklice between the south-west corner and north-west corner in the warehouse.
