Introduction: Medical students experience greater physical and psycho-emotional stress during their academic years compared to students of other professions. To develop prevention programs, it is necessary to study the factors that affect students’ health and the quality of life. Objective: To compare the quality of life of medical university students between the years of study and identify its health and demographic predictors. Materials and Methods: Using the SF-36 questionnaire to assess the quality of life, we conducted a survey of 1,884 first, third, and fifth-year university students specializing in general practice. Collected data were analyzed using SPSS version 22, and a multiple regression analysis was performed to identify quality of life predictors. Results: Medical students had high physical but low psychological quality of life scores. The median scores of physical functioning reached 95 points, while the role functioning and vitality scores dropped to 33.0 and 45.0 points, respectively. We established sex-specific differences in the quality of life indicators. Median physical and mental component summary scores in boys were 80.0 and 61.0 points, while in girls they were 72.0 and 49.0 points, respectively (p = 0.001). We observed an increase in the physical component score among fifth-year students and the lowest psychological component scores among the third-years. The main predictors of the quality of life were stress, physical activity, housing conditions, and financial situation, the maximum contribution of which to the variance of the physical and psychological components reached 25.1 % and 38.8 %, respectively. Conclusion: The quality of life indicators established in medical university students and the associated health and demographic factors should be taken into account when developing disease prevention and health promotion programs for students.
The article examines the theory of the language policy of the Russian Federation in the context of the civilizational factor. Russian Russian currently plays a key role in strengthening Russia’s national security and sovereignty, maintaining its linguistic and civic identity, as well as in understanding the culture and history of the Russian superethnos. Russian Russian is noted for the significant participation of Vladimir Wolfovich Zhirinovsky in the preservation, purity and development of Russian linguistic culture and the Russian language. The importance of the Russian language in all spheres of the country’s life is officially recognized and enshrined in key government documents. The author gives an idea of the ethnogeoplitics of the Russian language. The article provides information about the first ethnopolitician, Sergei Mikhailovich Solovyov, and his significant contribution to the development of socio-political, historical, and linguistic thought in Russia. Russians Russian language. The article examines the main provisions of the formation of the conceptual foundation of science of the third millennium. It is noted that in recent years there has been a change in the world order and the world order within the framework of the formation of the civilization of knowledge and risk. The authors state that the breakdown of the world order occurred as a result of the rapid development of information technology and the emergence of the intellectual sphere. Some provisions of the Concept of Public Safety related to building a society based on the existence and maintenance of a monopoly on knowledge with the simultaneous formation of clans consisting of many generations are given. Two main processes generated by the intelligence sphere are highlighted: the formation of large databases and a radical change in the rate of knowledge growth. The authors note that the new world order and world order should be based on knowledge about society, which should grow out of everything that was born during the millennia of struggle for power. This requires a rethinking and transformation of the conceptual foundation, which increases the demands on science in the third millennium. The authors note that such a science should be led by humanitarian knowledge, primarily based on such sciences as “Civilizationistics”, “History and Development of world civilizations”, “Civilizational Political Science (neopolitology)”. Expanding the share of the humanitarian component in the structure of the “science of the future” system will become the most important tool for achieving public awareness of the unity of civilizational development. The manifestation of the soft power mechanism is relevant not only in the external, but also in the internal space. Within the internal space, the use of the potential of this tool will contribute to the expansion of the defense consciousness of society as a whole, the formation of a stable national identity, as well as the creation and dissemination of narratives reflecting the traditional values inherent in the state-civilization, which is Russia. It is concluded that the formation of the conceptual foundation of science of the third millennium takes place on the basis of the intellectual sphere, generating new scientific knowledge.
The article examines the directions of the formation of a civilization-oriented educational system. The author notes that at the moment, all forecasts being developed and strategies being created have a tactical bias, regardless of what they are called. If there are attempts to understand the “long-term”, “future uncertainty”, “life risks”, they usually go into global studies of incredible proportions. The author states that today the culture of developing forecasts and creating strategies is almost at zero level. But very often, the problem of forecasting and strategic planning does not address the issues of educational policy. Today, traditional education is spontaneously and therefore difficult and contradictory transformed into project-based education. The article notes that it is necessary to create a strategy for the development of a modern educational system that is fundamentally different in its semantic content. Choosing the trajectory of one’s own development from the auxiliary part of educational technologies turns into a system of continuous monitoring of individual achievements, the ideological basis for building individual trajectories of moving forward. Priority should be given to strategic breakthrough technologies in the educational system, which in turn are generated by conceptual changes in science. Education should be presented as a systematic object of research that develops according to the laws of the intellectual sphere. The author points out the need for the formation of sixth-generation pedagogy, which should make it possible to change the principles of the development of the educational system, taking into account the change in the existing world order and world order both in our country and around the world. At the same time, the author highlights both the institutions that have already been formed at this stage, as well as those that still need to be worked on, and highlights the most common problems in the educational system.
The article provides information about the 6th International research-to-practice conference “Greater Eurasia: National and Civilizational Aspects of Development and Cooperation”.
