This study aims to investigate how organizational culture, training, and leadership style influence employee performance at PT PS in Solo City. This study uses a causal associative approach and quantitative methods. Employees working at PT PS in Solo City served as the population. The sample consisted of 89 employees selected using a census. A survey method was used for data collection, with employees given questionnaires to complete. SmartPLS was used for data analysis, which employed partial least squares-structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM). Based on the research findings, organizational culture, training, and leadership style partially influence employee performance at PT PS in Solo City. Simultaneously, organizational culture, training, and leadership style significantly influence employee performance at PT PS in Solo City.
The increasing reliance on artificial intelligence in cybercrime investigation has significantly altered the manner in which policing power is exercised in India. Law enforcement agencies now employ algorithmic tools for surveillance, pattern detection, suspect identification, and predictive assessment of digital behaviour. While these technologies promise efficiency and enhanced investigative capacity, they simultaneously raise serious constitutional concerns. This paper critically examines whether AI-driven cybercrime investigations are compatible with the guarantees of equality, freedom, and personal liberty enshrined under Articles 14, 19, and 21 of the Constitution of India. It argues that algorithmic policing challenges foundational principles of due process by introducing opaque decision-making, automated suspicion, and data-driven profiling that risk diluting the traditional requirement of reason to believe in criminal investigations. Through a doctrinal analysis of constitutional jurisprudence, statutory provisions governing surveillance and digital evidence, and emerging scholarly discourse on algorithmic governance, the paper contends that the current deployment of AI in cyber policing operates in a constitutional grey zone. The study concludes that without explicit legislative regulation, enforceable standards of transparency and explainability, and meaningful human and judicial oversight, algorithmic policing may undermine procedural fairness and constitutional accountability rather than strengthen the rule of law in India.
High rainfall intensity and surface water accumulation on mine haul roads frequently cause slippery conditions, leading to a reduction in Effective Working Hours (EWH) of heavy equipment and disruptions in overburden removal activities. This inefficiency results in substantial production losses, estimated at approximately IDR 403 million per hour due to waiting times and operational delays. This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of haul road reinforcement engineering through the utilization of local limestone reject material as a surface layer and the stone column method as a subgrade reinforcement system under slippery conditions in Balangan Regency, South Kalimantan. The evaluation was conducted on a 21 km section, equivalent to 66% of the total 31.9 km haul road network at PT Saptaindra Sejati (SIS) Job Site SERA, focusing on segments with the highest frequency of slippery occurrences. Additional measures included optimizing road geometry design (double crossfall), constructing grader parking areas, and improving surface compaction techniques. The evaluation results revealed a reduction in slippery duration from an average of 1.32 hours to 0.5 hours per rainfall event, an increase in soil bearing capacity by 167%, a 15% reduction in fuel consumption, and a 20% decrease in hauler tire wear. Overall, the integrated implementation of limestone reject and stone column proved to be an effective, efficient, and sustainable engineering solution for improving subgrade strength, enhancing drainage performance, and increasing operational efficiency of haul roads in high-rainfall mining environments such as Balangan.
Abstrak Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan sistem informasi administrasi kependudukan berbasis web untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan data penduduk di Desa Pantai Batung, Kecamatan Batu Benawa. Pengembangan sistem dilakukan menggunakan pendekatan System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) model Waterfall, melalui tahapan analisis kebutuhan, perancangan, implementasi, dan pengujian menggunakan blackbox testing. Sistem dibangun menggunakan PHP Framework CodeIgniter dan database MySQL. Sistem mampu mengelola data kependudukan, kelahiran, kematian, serta menghasilkan surat administrasi (kelahiran, kematian, domisili, dan pindah). Pengujian menunjukkan seluruh fitur berjalan sesuai kebutuhan pengguna. Kata kunci : Administrasi Kependudukan, Codeigniter, Layanan Publik Digital, Sistem Informasi, Waterfall Model Abstract This study aims to develop a web-based population administration information system to improve the efficiency of population data management in Pantai Batung Village, Batu Benawa District. The system was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) with the Waterfall model, involving stages of requirements analysis, system design, implementation, and testing through black-box testing. The system was built using the PHP CodeIgniter framework and a MySQL database. The system is capable of managing population data, birth and death records, and generating administrative documents (birth certificates, death certificates, domicile letters, and moving letters). Testing results show that all system features operate according to user requirements. This research represents the first development of a web-based population administration system in Pantai Batung Village, which previously relied entirely on manual paper-based processes. The system provides practical contributions by increasing the effectiveness of village public services and offering a technological foundation for the advancement of localized digital population administration. The study explored parents’ perception regarding the impact of Down syndrome on oral health and the challenges faced in availing dental care for their children. Interviews were conducted with the parents and oral health care providers (OHCP). A questionnaire was developed and shared as a Google Form amongst participants. The sections of the questionnaire were as follows: Demographics (nine questions), schooling (three questions), general health of the child (four questions), oral health (nine questions), impact on quality of life, and barriers faced (eight questions) and the last section open-ended. The data were analyzed using descriptive analysis and expressed in numbers and percentages. Although 60% of parents reported their child’s oral health as good, the quality of life was affected by lack of clarity of speech (65.1%), presence of cavities (35.4%), difficulty in chewing (34.9%), distress due to toothache (19.5%), and absence from school (8.2%). About 24% of respondents reported that they had not visited a dentist yet. About 31.3% of parents reported that they are not able to find oral health care facilities catering to special needs, and 19% reported that they had to travel a long distance to see a dentist. Parents expressed that the OHCP should be trained to handle special patients (77.9%) and should show empathy (60%). About 48.2% of the parents expressed their concern that their child’s pediatrician never informed them about oral health care, nor referred them to a dentist for consultation. Financial restraints were also a barrier to good oral care. Accessibility to oral health care facilities with trained OHCPs for special patients was a major challenge faced, and pediatricians should be made aware to refer children to OHCPs at early diagnosis and timely intervention.
