Abstract This study examined the intersection of corporate governance and the crisis of precarity in the digital age of gig economy, focussing on how workers resisted algorithmic control and structural inequalities. A systematic literature review (SLR) was conducted, synthesizing 104 documents published between 2017 and 2025, retrieved from Scopus and Web of Science databases. Bibliometric mapping and thematic synthesis were applied to classify research types, methodological approaches, and policy models. The article was structured around performance analysis, thematic evolution, and governance linkages, highlighting how corporate accountability, fairness, transparency, and stakeholder inclusivity had been challenged in digital Labour regimes. The novelty of this work lay in its comprehensive mapping of gig Labour resistance strategies—ranging from communicative unionism to entrepreneurial solidarities—while explicitly linking them to good corporate governance (GCG) principles. Findings showed that platforms often reproduced systemic inequalities, misclassified workers, and obscured accountability through algorithmic opacity, yet fissures in digital management created opportunities for collective agency. The implications suggested that corporate governance needed to evolve towards human-centred accountability, algorithmic transparency, and inclusive stakeholder protection to mitigate precarity and reinforce labour rights in the digital age.
Alopecia not only affects appearance but also significantly impacts self-esteem and quality of life. Natural ingredients like Aleurites moluccana (candlenut) and Aloe vera L. are gaining attention due to their perceived safety and environmental benefits. However, their molecular mechanisms in preventing hair loss remain unclear. This study evaluates the potential of active compounds from candlenut and Aloe vera as anti-alopecia agents through an in silico approach targeting the androgen receptor (AR), using PDB ID 4K7A. Methods included protein and ligand preparation, structure optimization, and molecular docking via AutoDock Tools to predict compound interactions with AR. The results showed that Campesterol from candlenut and β-Sitostenone exhibited highly stable binding energies (-11.53 and -11.23 kcal/mol) and low inhibition constants (3.55 and 5.88 nM), comparable to the native ligand. Aloe vera compounds, such as Gallic Acid and Quercetin, also demonstrated significant AR affinity, with binding energies of -8.89 kcal/mol and -8.72 kcal/mol, and inhibition constants of 862.99nM and 408.74 nM, respectively. Key interactions involved residues ASN 705, THR 877, and ARG 752. In conclusion, candlenut and Aloe vera compounds show promising anti-alopecia potential through AR inhibition. Further in vitro and in vivo studies are necessary to confirm their clinical efficacy and safety.
This paper reviews the research methodologies used in earlier years on the benefits and traits reflected by multi-depot vehicle routing problem (MDVRP) instances and assesses the efficacy of various improvised techniques to improve the current recurrent problems in routing procedures. Management of logistics involves moving finished goods from depots to end-user clients. Routing and scheduling systems that are improved will be able to serve a more significant number of customers in a shorter amount of time while also increasing customer satisfaction. To thoroughly discuss the current state of MDVRP implementation in routing heuristics, an analysis of the selected approaches involving multi-depot task distribution under VRP incorporations is further extrapolated. These approaches address the most common routing issues involving constraints like cost optimality, time window impositions, and load capacity flexibility. Recent research focuses on the advantages, proficiency, problem magnitude and adaptability in MDVRP. The MDVRP framework can still be significantly improved by reducing routing costs with efficient heuristics to generate optimized solutions.
Introduction: Predicting swimming success in competitive sports, primarily the outcomes of forthcoming Olympic swimming competitions. Objective: This paper provides an extensive and systematic review of research in swimming performance prediction published from 2014 to 2024. Method: This swimming performance prediction research was conducted with a Systematic Literature Review (SLR). In addition, to create article boundaries by the research topic that was reviewed, this study used projects for systematic reviews and meta-analysis (PRISMA) guidelines to conduct the systematic review. There are 21 journal publications are the result of the extraction of selected studies for identification and analysis to describe research topics or trends, datasets, techniques, methods, evaluations, and problems in this research field. Results: The results of the analysis provide an in-depth explanation of the topics or trends that are the focus of their studies in the field of swimming performance prediction, provide references to public datasets, and explain the techniques and methods that researchers often use to compare and develop methods. Discussion: A predictive mathematical model is a favourite technique because it integrates complex biologica health , biomechanical variables , providing precise performance prediction. Additionally, to improve both the accuracy and interpretability of predictions need for hybrid approaches that combine mathematical models with more advanced techniques, such as machine learning and explainable artificial intelligence (XAI). Conclusions: Swimming performance prediction plays a crucial role in enhancing training programs, guiding athlete selection, and evaluating progress.
