The study was undertaken among six urban junior high schools and six rural junior high schools in Xinxiang area of Henan Province by means of questionnaire,interview and reference material on the current situation of foreign language teachers in the process of integrated urban and rural education with the focus on teaching belief,teaching equipment,professional quality,teaching methods and teachers＇ training.This research intends to identify the major causes for the problems,and correspondingly it proposes some suggestions and ways to reduce the unbalanced development of urban and rural education in order to promote the integration of foreign education in urban and rural in China.
