Using the conventional chemical analysis technology, the contaminant content in wastewater from different treating stages in two representative large-scale pig farms in Guangxi was determined and they were compared with the national discharged standards. The changes of contamination indices in every treating link were investigated, so as to provide references for taking according measures for energy conservation and emission reduction in the livestock breeding. Contaminants indices included suspended solids (SS), ammonia nitrogen (NH3-N), BOD5 and chemical oxygen demand (CODcr). The results showed that the wastewater discharged from Farm 1 after applying wastewater treatment technology was substandard,but the wastewater discharged from Farm 2 reached standard. Wastewater could be purified by plants grew in the pond. And the suspended solids (SS)could be effectively reduced by the treatment in the settling tank and secondary sedimentation tank.
[Objective] To investigate the effects of reducing concentration of sewage discharge by multiprocessing in a scale pig farm,and provide a theoretical basis for sewage treatment and comprehensive utilization.[Method] Wastewater from a scale pig farm was treated through biogas fermentation,sedimentation and grass irrigation,and the datas of sewage discharge indexes for each process were measured at the same time.[Result] After treatment,Five-day BOD,chemical oxygen demand,suspended solids,NH3-N concentration,Total P were 17.0,41.0,83.0,0.319 and 0.108 mg/L,respectively,fecal coliform number was 130 MPN/100 ml and ascaris egg number was 0 individual/L in the pig farm.[Conclusion] The value of each sewage discharge index is below the maximum permissible quantity of wastewater effluent in Discharge standard of pollutants for livestock and poultry breeding(GB 18596-2001).

In paper,the existed problems in Guangxi in livestock husbandry leisure feeding of sewage treatment was discussed for recent years.Based on actual situation of Guangxi area and combining practice,the pattern of the separation of wet and dry--methane ferments--the artificial ley--stable pond-emissionswas put forward,and satisfying effect was achieved.
Experiment was conducted to study sewage treatment and recycling pattern through methane fermenting and sedimentation of wastewater,using sedimentary wastewater to wash stall in a southern Dairy Farm.The results showed that biochemical oxygen demand after 5 days,chemical oxygen demand,NH3-N concentration,fecal coliform number,ascaris egg number were reduced by 64.0%,66.8%,65.9%,54.2%,26.5%,respectively;and the annual water was saved in the farm amounted to 46.6%.
