'Hongyang pumpkin'is a new early maturing pumpkin F1 hybrid,cross-bred by taking Y-3-7-9-2-11 as female parent and Y-5-1-9 as male parent.It has early maturity,and grows vigorously.The first female flower usually sets on the 6-8 node.It takes 40 days from flowering to harvesting and 102 days from sowing to harvesting.The fruit is round and flat,with light salmon pink and fine appearance.It has orange flesh with 3.0 cm in depth and sweet taste with chest nut flavor.It has higher resistant to powdery mildew and virus disease than'Hongmi pumpkin'.The average fruit weight is about 1.5 kg.Its yield is 45-60 t·hm-2.It is suitable for cultivation in open and protected filed in spring.

In order to learn the evolution laws and genetic program of wheat cultivars,the wheat cultivars in Shandong province from 1950′s were analyzed.The results showed that the disease-resistance of wheat was promoted and plant height came to decreased;The contribution of primary characters of wheat to yield in evolution procession was grain number per spikematurity spikesweight of 1000 grainsplant height in 1950′s while the weight of 1000 grainsgrain number per spikematurity spikesplant height in present.Yield components tend to be reasonable and yield potential was improved.The heritability of plant height and length of main stem spike were higher,while that of yield potential was lower.

2002~2005年应用金纹细蛾、桃小食心虫、苹果小卷叶蛾三种性诱剂在苹果园试验,调查了三种害虫成虫在烟台市的发生消长规律,并确定了三种性诱剂开始使用及结束的时间。

1211是烟台市农科院玉米所以白525与中白17组成二环系,然后以中白17为轮回亲本,通过回交转育选育而成的糯质玉米自交系.该自交系具有配合力高,综合性状好,抗病、抗倒、适应性强等特点,用以组配的烟糯6号、烟糯7号、威糯王1号等糯质玉米杂交种,已大面积应用于生产.

近年来斜纹夜蛾在烟台市发生呈上升趋势. 2002年大暴发,多种果树苗木、蔬菜、农作物、牧草受害.其中三叶草受害较重,有的地块每平方米有幼虫 300多头,叶片几乎全部吃光,严重影响了绿化效果. 1998～ 2002年,笔者利用黑光灯诱测成虫,并对三叶草单一种植、三叶草与其他树种混栽等不同生态环境下斜纹夜蛾的发生情况做了调查,基本摸清了发生规律,提出了防治措施.

蔬菜生产过程中不断受到多种途径污染源的污染,特别是城乡工业的飞速发展,农业生态环境恶化,在蔬菜生产上化肥、农药、除草剂、催熟剂等使用量也日益增大,不仅带来环境污染,也使蔬菜等农产品直接受污染,不仅食用农残超标蔬菜发生中毒,也使农产品在国际上的竞争力日趋下降.据对北京、上海等大城市调查有79～80%的居民希望购买无公害蔬菜,因此生产和推广无公害蔬菜生产技术,对保障人类健康、良好的生态环境和国际上竞争力都具有重要而深远的意义.无公害蔬菜是指控制环境污染所生产的蔬菜,在生产过程中注重生产技术的改进、对病虫害的防治技术以及农药的使用量、使用次数等都作严格规定.
