Aim: To study the association of the HTR2C gene rs6318, rs6313 of the HTR2A gene, rs4680 of the COMT gene, rs3785143 of the SLC6A2 gene, rs1799913 of the TPH1 gene, rs7997012 of the HTR2A gene with the development of neurotic disorders in young people living in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Design: A comparative study. Materials and methods. The study included 133 clinically healthy volunteers. The age of the participants ranged from 16 to 24 years. Molecular genetic studies were carried out on the basis of the Laboratory of Medical Genetics of the V.F. Voino-Yasenetsky Moscow State Medical University of the Ministry of Health of Russia. Psychological testing was performed using the questionnaire of depressive symptoms of Beck, the scale of socio-situational anxiety of O. Kondash in the modification of A.M. Parishioner, Hospital scale of anxiety and depression, as well as carrier study of the association of single nucleotide variants (ONV) rs7997012 of the HTR2A gene, rs6318 of the HTR2C gene, rs6313 of the HTR2A gene, rs4680 of the COMT gene, rs3785143 of the SLC6A2 gene, rs1799913 of the TPH1 gene with neurotic disorders (anxiety and subclinical depression). Results. According to multivariate analysis, the association of the COMT G gene allele carrier (odds ratio (OR) = 2.784; 95% confidence interval (CI): 1.291–6.001; χ2 = 6.986; p = 0.009) and the AH genotype (OR = 2,208; 95% CI: 1,032–4,724; χ2 = 16.716; p < 0.001) with subclinical depression according to the total index of the Beck scale. Carrying the SS genotype of the rs1799913 TRN1 gene increases the risk of learning anxiety by 3 times (OR = 3.011; 95% CI: 1.138–7.967; χ2 = 7.622; p = 0.023). Conclusion. The carriage of the G allele and the rs4680 genotype and AG of the COMT gene is associated with subclinical depression, and the carriage of the SS genotype of the rs1799913 TRN1 gene increases the risk of learning anxiety by 3 times. Thus, the ONV of these genes can be considered as predictors of neurotic disorders, significant already at the subclinical level. Temporal lobe epilepsy (TLE) is one of the most common forms of focal epilepsy in children and adults. TLE is characterized by variable onset and seizures. Moreover, this form of epilepsy is often resistant to pharmacotherapy. The search for new mechanisms for the development of TLE may provide us with a key to the development of new diagnostic methods and a personalized approach to the treatment. In recent years, the role of non-coding ribonucleic acids (RNA) has been actively studied, among which microRNA (miR) is of the greatest interest. (1) Background: The purpose of the systematic review is to analyze the studies carried out on the role of miRs in the development of mesial TLE (mTLE) and update the existing knowledge about the biomarkers of this disease. (2) Methods: The search for publications was carried out in the databases PubMed, Springer, Web of Science, Clinicalkeys, Scopus, OxfordPress, Cochrane. The search was carried out using keywords and combinations. We analyzed publications for 2016–2021, including original studies in an animal model of TLE and with the participation of patients with TLE, thematic and systemic reviews, and Cochrane reviews. (3) Results: this thematic review showed that miR‒155, miR‒153, miR‒361‒5p, miR‒4668‒5p, miR‒8071, miR‒197‒5p, miR‒145, miR‒181, miR‒199a, miR‒1183, miR‒129‒2‒3p, miR‒143‒3p (upregulation), miR–134, miR‒0067835, and miR‒153 (downregulation) can be considered as biomarkers of mTLE. However, the roles of miR‒146a, miR‒142, miR‒106b, and miR‒223 are questionable and need further study. (4) Conclusion: In the future, it will be possible to consider previously studied miRs, which have high specificity and sensitivity in mTLE, as prognostic biomarkers (predictors) of the risk of developing this disease in patients with potentially epileptogenic structural damage to the mesial regions of the temporal lobe of the brain (congenital disorders of the neuronal migration and neurogenesis, brain injury, neuro-inflammation, tumor, impaired blood supply, neurodegeneration, etc.).
The purpose of this study was to explore the relationship between psycho-physiological markers of human health and dermatoglyphic indicators in young people. Materials and Methods: The study included 920 healthy volunteers aged between 18 and 21 years. All volunteers underwent the following examinations: EEG, an assessment of the anxiety level according to the BAI, and dermatoglyphic scanning. Results: According to the data obtained. there was a statistically significant strong negative correlation between the stress load indicator and dermatoglyphic data, such as the summary' delta index (DI) and summary ridge count. A strong positive correlation was found between the percentage of whorls and stress (r=0.88). The predominant increase in anxiety is characteristic of persons with total ridge count (TRC) on the thumb of the right hand in the range from 19 to 23. Conclusion: Results demonstrate the interrelationships (association) between psycho-physiological (anxiety level, stress load indicator) and dermatoglyphic markers (DI, TRC and whorl pattern type) in young healthy people.
ВЛИЯНИЕ ПАССИВНОЙ ВЕРТИКАЛИЗАЦИИ НА ТЕЧЕНИЕ ИШЕМИЧЕСКОГО ИНСУЛЬТА ПРИ ПРОВЕДЕНИИ ИСКУССТВЕННОЙ ВЕНТИЛЯЦИИ ЛЕГКИХ
The aim of the present research was to evaluate the main characteristics of tempo-rhythm in healthy adults. Materials and methods: A total of 33 healthy adult volunteers (20 males and 13 females) participated in the study. The technique involved wrist tapping on the surface of the device (Android smartphone), followed by the registration of the time parameters of this process in the original program based on the modified technique "Method of exogenous rhythmic stimulation influence on an individual human rhythm." The reference boundaries of the wrist tapping characteristics were studied. Conclusion: The obtained data can be used in neurorehabilitation for patients with a wide range of neurological disorders, including epilepsy.
AIM:The aim of the research was to study the dynamics of neurologic disorders in the context of combined therapy in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus.MATERIAL AND METHODS:We examined 50 patients with diabetic polyneuropathy aged 50-70 years, with more than 12 months disease duration. The main group (n=30) included the patients who received 18 injections of Cocarnit against the background of hypoglycemic therapy. The control group patients (n=20) received only hypoglycemic therapy. The intensity and character of the pain on the background of the therapy was assessed on the TSS and NSS scales. An objective evaluation of the neurological status was performed using NDS. The state of the neuromotor apparatus was studied using stimulation electroneuromyography (ENMG) on motor fibers.RESULTS:As a result of the study, patients in the main group experienced a significant improvement in the NSS, TSS, NDS scales, as well as a decrease in the latent period, an increase in the M-response amplitude and n. peroneus impulse conduction rate.CONCLUSION:The obtained data confirm the efficacy and high safety profile of Cocarnit in the treatment of diabetic polyneuropathy in patients with type 2 diabetes.
Background. Sleep is an important part of a healthy lifestyle, affecting all aspects of human life. Formation of the sleep–wake regime is associated with other physiological processes in the human body. Sleep disorders can lead to the development of various physical and psychological disorders. In schoolchildren and students sleep disorders can lead to memory loss, increase in anxiety and fatigue. Taken together, these factors can lead to lower performance. A variety of internal and external factors can lead to disruption of sleep: stress, much physical and emotional strain, artificial light in the streets, excessive activity of a person during the night (night work, homework etc.). Schoolchildren, living in rural areas, also suffer from sleep disorders. Most of the schoolchildren of countryside are not satisfied with the quality of nocturnal sleep, sleep at least 8 hours a day and notice daytime sleepiness.Objective: to estimate derangements of circadian rhythms of a sleep at schoolchildren of the senior classes, living in countryside.Materials and methods. 67 questionnaires of schoolchildren of the 10th grades of schools of the Abansky District of the Krasnoyarsk Region were analyzed. To estimate the daytime sleepiness, duration and quality of sleep there were used the Child Sleep Questionnaire and the Epworth Sleepiness Scale.Results. A derangements of nocturnal sleep were registered in 52 % of schoolchildren of the 10th grades.Conclusion. Identified sleep disorders in schoolchildren can cause serious damage to their health and cause the development of a serious disorders in the future.
THE PURPOSE of this paper is to investigate relations between somatic, neurophysiological and psychophysiological markers of human health and to find out these markers' associations.METHODS: anthropometry, bioimpedancemetry, biological age determination, electroencephalography, evaluation of anxiety and depression levels. A total of 1000 young healthy persons were examined (409 males and 511 females).RESULTS: inverse correlation has been revealed between sexual dimorphism index (SDI) and the level of selfreported anxiety according to the Beck Anxiety Inventory. Insignificant alterations in situational and interpersonal anxiety alongside with significant increase in depression level were common to persons with low body mass indices (BMI). Low scores in situational and interpersonal anxiety together with low depression level were revealed in persons with increased BMI. Increase in anxiety was found in both males and females with sexual inversion, more often in male gynecomorphs. The degree of situational anxiety level elevation (in points) was positively correlated with the degree of sexual inversion manifestation.CONCLUSION: the present research has demonstrated interrelation (association) between somatic (BMI, sexual inversion), neurophysiological (coherence coefficient) and psychophysiological (anxiety and depression level) markers in healthy adolescents.
Mesial temporal sclerosis (MTS) is the most common histopathology occurring in patients with drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy. Over the past decades, there have been various attempts to classify the variants of hippocampal neuronal cell loss in relation to postoperative outcome. However, no consensus on the common international definition and classification of MTS has been reached. The article describes the modern histological classification based on a semiquantitative hippocampal cell loss model. The publications dealing with the histological classification of mesial temporal sclerosis are reviewed.
Abstract: the aim of our research was assessment of the cumulative risk of disorders of metabolism of folic acid in the development of the congenital defect fetus (CDF) in women with epilepsy and receiving antiepileptic drugs (AEDs). Materials and Methods: the study included 124 cases of pregnancy. Results: 54.7% of the daily doses of AEDs exceeded teratogenic levels; at 4.9% - registered the CDF. In 57.1% cases - the CDF associated with hereditary metabolic disorders of folic acid. Conclusions. Women which receive AEDs and have hereditary metabolic disorders of metabolism of folic acid are at increased risk group of developing congenital malformations.

This article addresses issues of anxiety and depression among students as socially significant phenomena that have an important influence on the process of learning and health of students, as higher education is associated with high psycho-emotional stress, not only in the educational process a large amount of new knowledge, more severe requirements to the educational process, more frequent and sophisticated monitoring, test, exams but in everyday life: moving to a strange city, living separately from their parents in a new environment with new not familiar people, a new team, a new pace of life. The study showed that the overall psycho-emotional background of anxiety-depressive indicators among the students of the first courses KrasGMU calm, but there is a group of students identified for the individual psycho-pedagogical approach
This article considers the problem neyrofiziologiechkoy maturity of the cerebral cortex in relation to the coherence factor as indicators of hemispheric integration. Both figures play an important role in the ability of students to assimilate the material of the curriculum and cope with the pressures of higher education, which is characterized by hard mental work, large amounts of information, irregular schedule, reduction of time devoted to leisure. Studies have shown that the majority of students achieved neurophysiological maturity of the cerebral cortex, and at the same time, only a third of students have optimal performance for the assimilation of the material of the curriculum, and nearly 18% of students require an individual, a more detailed approach to their learning.
The article presents a review of works of domestic authors, devoted to the quality and duration of sleep, impact of sleep on mental and physiological health and the academic performance of students. Sleep is an important component of physiological health and the disturbance of its quality or duration have a negative impact both on health and on the health and academic performance of students. A certain influence on the duration of sleep chronotypes have and course load, justifying late bedtimes among students. Special attention should be paid to the prevalence of such phenomena as sleep disorders, having both physiological and mental nature. Various sleep disorders occur in almost half of the students. Most of the students is found poor quality of morning awakening associated with late bedtimes.
According to various researches, students of higher education institutions note the worst sleep quality in comparison with of people of similar age in general population. The analysis of sleep disorders at students of the first, fourth and sixth courses of medical university is carried out. The examination consisted of questions about the currently available questions and the case before sleep disorders, their duration and frequency, the overall subjective characteristics of sleep, Epworth Sleepiness Scale. In total we conducted a survey 276 students aged from 17 till 35 years old. In general more than a half of students (61.9 %) aren’t satisfied with quality of a night sleep, and it is more students of the first and fourth courses (62.7 % and 64.7 % respectively), with some reduction on the sixth course (45.1 %). There was a reduction of sleep time on weekdays at students of all surveyed courses, with greater severity in the first course, which is probably due to the high load on the students´ independent work, and not the rational allocation of free time junior students. Among all the students noted non-compliance with the time going to sleep and wake-up in the weekdays and weekends.
We present our experience in diagnosis of sensorypredominant chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (SP-CIDP), which utilizes unique approach, including computerized pallesthesiometry and thermosensomtery, transcutaneous oxymetry and stabilometry. We strongly emphasize the connection between Herpes viridae infection and SP-CIDP. Attention to chief complaint of patient and multimodal testing of superficial and deep sensation is accentuated. We suggest our approach to diagnosis for wider utilization considering high prevalence of SP-CIDP in general population. We believe, that implementation of our diagnostic approach in clinical medicine will clarify epidemiology of SP-CIDP. Our system helps practitioner in differential diagnosis and further management of patient with SP-CIDP.
Pallesthesia is provided by type As fibers of peripheral nerves. Violations of vibration sensitivity primarily meet at polyneuropathy of class myelinopathy. Perspective for evaluation the degree of violation of vibration sensitivity is computer pallesthesiometry. The example of two own clinical observations of patients with chronic inflammatory demyelinating polyneuropathy (CIDP) and hereditary neuropathy Charcot-Marie-Tooth (NNSHMT) are demonstrated the possibilities of the computer pallesthe-siometry in the diagnosis of chronic peripheral polyneuropathy and in assessing the effectiveness of therapeutic measures.
